Well I would like to play a bounty hunter, and I suppose fashion-crazed women who plunder wardrobes would be considered thieves based on the new justice system, so yes I'd get behind this. Your vanity and kleptomania, my profit.

Catch me if you can, darling. At least I'll look fabulous.

I can't wait to be able to loot a redguard looking dress. I wear the forebear dishdashda disguise at the moment but it is pants and a top. I want some desert girlie wear please. The outfit worn by the imperial messenger by the Sentinel wayshrine is pretty nice.

I would also like to be able to get outfits without always having to kill the wearer. Only one of my 7 alts is a psychopath. The rest would prefer to find clothes in wardrobes - instead of drippings and bits or stone or random pieces of meat.

'Appearance' slots (like in EQ2) would be something I would pay extra for, or similar to other games like LotRO. The 'costume' slot is too limited right now.

Highly supported, recommended, and hoped for!

UO had this, any NPC you killed had all of their belongings in the coffin that popped up when you went to loot, clothes, shoes, aprons, hats, weapons, what ever they were carrying at the time. Would be a great idea once the justice system goes live and we are able to kill NPC's.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

I could get behind having a chance to find RP clothing when pillaging houses/laundry. Can't get behind the costume slot however.

Just FYI, it's only theft when you sneak, if you're walking about it's not theft. There will still be items you can loot, the stolen ones will actually have value though and can be sold to a fence.

And you know this how? I've been closely following what is to me a very important issue and I haven't heard any developer announcements stating this. All I've heard so far is player supposition. If you could link me to the developer flatly stating this, I'd be very grateful.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Yes! This is a great way to improve the immersion of the game. I have always enjoyed wearing clothing in past ES games, and it would be nice to have some fancy clothes to wear around town when Im not out slaying things.

This was one of the nice things about Morrowind. A lot of my characters' first clothing upgrade was that falling dude's robe... north of Seyda Neen.

@GreenTea‌ You know at least two or three of the images you posted are craftable light armor right? the bottom middle looks like the the dunmer light armor. The top left I think is breton or high elf. The bottom left I think is craftable too. The jerkins in the other pics as well as the maid looking innkeeper one I don't know about though. But I haven't played with the jerkins much since they were introduced.

Edit: I was looking on ESO fashion:
    http://eso-fashion.com/clothing-by-armor-weight/

I believe I was wrong about the top left. But the bottom middle is definitely low lv dunmer with a breton helm

And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

In Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim i always looted killed NPC's from their clothes. Then (in Oblivion and SKyrim) i tossed their naked bodies from a mountain,

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

@GreenTea‌ you're a genius. I think you just made one of the ONLY forum posts I've ever seen that has had little->no negative feedback. The one post in here that was negative, had no relevance. The justice system would make looting these things thieving, yes but no one is forced in to PvP. PvP will only be enabled once you hit a certain bounty and if clothiers are allowed to CRAFT these items then you would not need to engage in even the Justice System part of this post. #irrelevantPost-Zero #OPsPost-One :)

We really need a secondary appearance tab that would allow us to wear commoner clothing, I keep my crafter in the servant clothes just because I get tired of seeing my armor so much.

Additional clothing and appearance items also provides more benefit to crafting, as it stands now woodworking can only do weapons and shields so it could also be setup to make furniture if we ever get housing, clothing has cloth and hide armor but could easily have the option to use those same materials to make cosmetic gear as well. Add in jewelry crafting to blacksmithing and make everything, weapons included, dyeable and then we will have a properly robust crafting system.

Could also make these new crafting styles only unlock after a skill point is spent to give crafters something special just as players who don't craft have more build flexibility to address multiple roles.
"It is a time of strife and unrest. Armies of revenants and dark spirits manifest in every corner of Tamriel. Winters grow colder and crops fail. Mystics are plagued by nightmares and portents of doom."

This is a brilliant idea. One of the things I liked best about Skyrim is the fact that if you kill an NPC, you can actually loot the outfits/armor/weapons they're carrying! It made it so much more interesting, than killing a Sea Viper and looting bacon, lol.
