Thing is...no one here has complained about the price. Hell, most people are pointing out something that entirely refutes your sarcastic comment...in your example, a person could trade in their old XBox and pick up the new one...people often do with new versions. But in this case, there is literally no way for us to throw money at them and get the dog on our account. We could buy a new account and completely restart...but that's more like trading in your XBox, hard drive, and all your games just for the new version. One option they could do, let us pay 5 or even 10 bucks to attach our accounts to Steam and get the dog (if you have Imperial). They get to make money, we get Steam access for our accounts (which is half the issue itself), everyone is happy.

Who exactly has given out a Steam Key for a game you bought and played already?
No game has ever done this. Only one game has actually allowed you to convert the non steam version to steam and that's path of exile.
It is absolutely commonplace for businesses to offer perks to buy products at a later-then-brandspankingnew date. Got a cellphone? Get a plan, wait a month, look at the provider website, my money's on them have added/changed to to make it a better deal - and it doesn't apply retroactively to you.
It really is false entitlement to think that just because somebody else may be offered a different/possibly more enticing deal then you were offered that you should be compensated.

How is it not so here? you can buy a copy on steam if you like.. Not diffrent than buying a game and then a few months later that game comes out as GotY eddition, with all the previous DLC for less than you paid for the original.

I believe this is not correct. If we buy the game on Steam, we are not able to use our existing ESO account. It seems it would require making a new account and starting over.ZOS_JordanH wrote: »Hey, @IcyDeadPeople. You guys excel at one thing. Upsetting your customer base.
"We are using the pay to play model so players get the whole game and are not forced to pay extra for in game features"

That's... Disgusting. Scream "entitlement" all you want, it doesn't make this any less awful. There's no reason for this to be restricted to new players coming in from Steam when you have countless veterans who've played since beta.

In all honestly this "dog" is pretty ugly. It looks like its been taking a full long life of being beaten like a piñata daily and other misstreatments rendering it scared, stressed and wore down. What a sad sight!
