When your car breaks down and you take it to the shop, do you go over all the great things about the car or do you just tell the repair person what is wrong with the car?
So, duh, people who come here to tell ZOS what is wrong, just wants the stuff fixed.
You want to hold their hand and make sure their feeling don't get hurt, be my guest.

As for ESO, there is now a front page article on www.mmorpg.com. Everybody happy?
Did you read the article? Or at least the title?
Is ESO Dying or Just Carving a Niche?
He said most of the PvP players have all gathered to one campaign because of lack of players.
He said he lost 80 players so far from in his own guild.
It's not looking good.

Tamriel Foundry forums are so slow. Topics frequently go days without responses. In-depth discussions of mechanics and builds are slowing to a trickle.
MMORPG forgot about this game on April 4th.
Dulfy articles for ESO frequently have zero comments, whereas GW2 articles typically have dozens and SWTOR articles have hundreds.
ESOHead is clearly far worse than WoWHead. These sites rely on users to submit data, so it stands to reason that the quality of these online databases is proportional to the number of users.
I suppose the ESO subreddit is fine if you're looking for screenshots of Pacrooti's mail text, or screenshots of amusing glitches, or screenshots of "missing" textures with the title "does anyone know what this means?!?!?
Are there any fan sites that are still alive?

Terrible analogy. I don't even know where to begin, but there is very little in common between an auto mechanic and the development team for a video game company. Do you know how much money I had to pay last time my car needed repairs? And that was my own personal car, not some shared vehicle driven by millions, not to mention that my car cost me thousands to buy, while this game cost you how much? Also, my car is much more important than some game. If you have the money to pay a development team to make you your own personal game without flaws, then by all means, make one. And if you're having technical issues, take them to the support forum where they belong.
Yeah I hate it. No theorycrafting because there's no endgame. No worthwhile VR12 class guides or class discussion. No discussion about dungeons because nobody runs them more than once. I've been feeding my horses and collecting my hireling goods whilest hoping for a miracle patch. If I didn't know a few IRL people who play (other factions, whoops) I wouldn't have a sub.
The framework of this game is really good and it didn't deserve the poor execution that we got. Still hoping for the miracle July patch to work things out but I know I'm probably throwing another $15 in the toilet.

you are missing esoui.com which is the largest other than tamriel foundry.
The game has been out for 3 months, other games for years.
These things take time.
No esoui isn't a fan site, it's the site we go to for addons to make the game bearable. If all we had was the native UI this game wouldn't be worth playing.

No one is playing in Vet levels. They've all quit. My guilds are dead. They've all quit. Their subs will run out. PVP is about to die. That was the last bastion for VRs. Then what for ZOS? Time to face reality. It's not an "unknown". It's staring you in the face.

They do it to let members know they are watching so the thread doesn't derail.

Yeah I know. But a little personality would do no harm. I could automate most of their responses. Why so aloof and distant? The Borg had more engaging personalities.

Ignoring the fatuous "immediate gratification" comment, the other reality is people get fed up of being jerked around and simply say "screw it I can't be arsed".they completely changed the way the API works. These people write the software in their spare time. They have to re-configure their software to work with the new API. That doesn't happen over night.
Immediate gratification is not an actual thing people, you understand that right?
