So your argument is once your NB lands an attack (1800 burst damage in one sec!?) all players should have zero chance to escape or live to counter? Believe me, if u are able to do that, you know what's the next class/build that's gonna get nerfed? NB.

Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.1 -

No other class has a 100 percent esp mech no matter the sitcuation. There's a reason why mages and dk litter the leaderboards and here's a hint has nothing to do with skill... It will be a major mistake if they nerf BE. The skill is not overpowered because it is only a defensive/escape tool. So what that I can run away if I reserve half of my magicka for that exact purpose? People who do not play Sorc do not realize how many times we do indeed get killed even with BE on our bar. You're really getting caught up in the 'MUST KILL' tunnel vision and getting annoyed that someone you feel you could kill, got away. But you aren't realizing that those BE using Sorc are not helping their team at all by reserving magicka to abandon them.
Frankly, the skill is just damn cool and it would be a shame to nerf a cool utility spell because people get panties in a bind when they don't get their kill.You earned the 500 LOLs badge.

"I mean, if this Bolt Escape crap continues I've only got two options: accept the fact that I can't kill everything I see in a matter of seconds or adapt my build to be able to chase them. But if I change my build to be better at chasing, I won't be able to 1-shot things as often. Its not fair I tell you. Next thing you know they'll give Sorcerer's tools to actually kill ME!"
Thankfully, there's no sign of that in the near future. Zenimax Online Studios, creator and developer of the Elder Scrolls Online, responded to our request for an interview with the following prepared statement:
"We understand how frustrating it can be for players to not be able to kill everything they see in 1-shot but we feel its only fair to give all classes a chance to live in PvP, even if they aren't able to kill things. We will not be buffing the Sorcerer's damage or survivability in combat anytime soon, but we think its funny to give them the ability to at least run away. That way we can laugh at them while they run in terror from the kings of our game, the Dragon Knights.
That said, we will be buffing the Night Blade soon, to reduce the Sorcerer's escape rate against this class as well."3 -

I'm willing to bet everyone on here that is defending bolt esp has a sorc.. Look mist form wasn't even as bad as bolt esp and the hammer was dropped. Second when you 100 percent of the time decide the outcome of the battle because of one move its not skill its an exploit. No critical thinking required.

And I'm willing to bet that everyone on here that is QQ'n bolt escape isn't a sorc....I don't even have it slotted due to the dps loss....so I'm not being a homer here.....I'm being a realist. There are far better skills at a sorcs disposal which do much more damage/CC/stun/mez. The reality of the matter is people who are complaining are doing so because they "feel" that they were "entitled" to a kill and that people are robbing them of the AP or out of blind stupidity when it comes to what a class is built for/around.
To the mist form complaint....I'm a vamp sorc on my main and to tell you the truth I didn't see the OP'ness of that personally (and I never used it either) but many did so Zenimax felt it was not intended to be a signature ability like BE is and nerfed. Hence they went and made it more comparable to boundless storm.
Side note : If you see any sorc "exploiting" BE and instantly winning 100% of their fights then I will gladly say it needs a nerf since that means they are killing players by running away in the opposite direction and that is just way over the top OP. I'm a horrible PvP'er but I still manage to kill sorcs who BE on my nonsorc toons. If you never used mist form or BE why are you commenting on it? And I strongly believe if you killed a sorc with BE they need to uninatall the game esp from a sub par pvper like you claim to be. Its an expolit, no class should be given a get out of jail free card 100 percent of the time

✭I fought a sorc yesterday for over 7 minutes. 8 stamina potions later, as I had to chase him down every time I "beat" him, which was roughly 6 times, then finally the 7th fight he got lucky and beat me.
So, my 6 "victories" = 0 AP earned, his 1 victory and 6 "losses" = 400~ AP earned.
Seems balanced to me.
If by balanced I mean complete ridiculousness.
So you have overwhelming power in 6 out of 7 encounters, I wonder exactly which class should be nerfed in your situation.1 -

You claimed you win 99% of fights and yet still were crying nerf and you expect everyone to forget?
Nope, not at all. And I'm not saying it's untrue now. That was the only time I lost to a sorc in a 1v1 yesterday. And being that he literally blinked away 6 times after being stomped makes bolt laughable.
Almost as laughable as all these sorcs in here screaming "It's fine! Dear baby Jesus, it's fine! It's not even that powerful! Please don't nerf it! Don't... Please... Please? I don't want to accept my loses.. Please? Mommy?"

Lol please if you kill a mage its because he didn't morph to stun and he has problems jaming on one button. Plus NB are the most broken class in the game.

Have you used Bolt Escape? I do not think I'm a slouch in PVP and do quite well, but still have been caught countless times while trying to Bolt Escape away for my life. Ranged CC's happen, not enough magicka happens, another Sorc chasing you down happens, deciding you help your group the most by standing and fighting happens.

So your argument is still that you beat Sorc 99 times out of 100, but because that 1 time he was able to BE away, we must nerf BE? I feel I don't even need to post in defense of BE with people like you posting to nerf it.
