After the 50MB patch both the ESO.exe and Launcher still have memory leaks. They are small, but still there. In the KB range. Over time you will still run out of memory. This is a step in the correct direction, but work still needs to be done on finding all the memory leaks.
Have they even confirmed that they patched the memory leak?
I just downloaded a patch when I got booted out of the game for the 5th time today after interacting with a crafting station. So, apparently they patched the memory leak already.
The small patch that fixes the memory leak and infinite loading screen issue is now available for the North American megaserver. There is no downtime required. If you are currently in the game, please log out completely to apply the fixes.
This patch will be available on the European server in approximately 4-5 hours. Thank you all for your patience as we worked to fix these issues.

They are working 24/7 because of the severity of the "service".
Zenimax KNOWS any time the game isn't playable and I am not talking about some stupid fix on a class who claims they can not play because 1 SKILL doesnt work.
They work until most people can play the game.
Those with just 4GB or even playing on a LAPTOP?????? Unless you paid like 1000 $ for the laptop, get a proper computer, because ESO require 4GB to play. And if you are using Win 8, you dont even have access to 4GB.
Get more RAM. Its cheap. And if you like playing these game and this isnt just about ESO, get a proper computer lol!
The staff will go home and get some sleep when they fixed it is players with some sort of playable system (laptop, with a crap HD, useless motherboard, probebly max medium graphic card, low RAM and win 8 will still have problems, but I am sorry, that are problems on your end.)

Are you getting error 301, @Stowstrider? If so, we're still working on tracking down the cause of it and will update the main threads about the issue when we have more info.
