Prowlers Talisman did not change

I looked at my Talisman before I had the jewel added and then after and no change to it 's properties.

Also I collected three nowhere keys while doing thee quest but I get no indication of having the last one. Why?

Not sure about the first part, but I can tell you about the second. You found one of them while doing "Three Thieves in Daggerfall," but
Abrasia took it during "Wolf Trap."

You got one or two keys during "The Nowhere Keys." One key is no-fail, but the other can be failed. So by the time you get to "Racing Into Nowhere," you have at most two keys.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

No I got the key that can get away. So I had three keys. I kill the guy that usually gets away and stole it off him. Then the other one at the acid pit

I'm going to have to spoiler tag almost all of this, but I'm real confused here.

The first key is what you snagged from the Bank in Daggerfall.
"The guy" that gets away with the first key is Abrasia during "Wolf Hunt." Seline drops it on the ground, Abrasia drops down and snatches it up before anyone from Koldane's group can take it, and runs off.
This is scripted stuff and you cannot keep that key unless you have somehow discovered an unknown glitch.

    The second key is
what you picked up in Dwynnarth Ruins with Edwane.
This one can be failed, but yes, the target runs away if you fail the initial attempt and you can still snag it through combat.

    The third key is
what you picked up in Themond Mine with Seline.
This one is no-fail. You cannot not get it without abandoning the quest because you must have at least one key to progress the next mission.

If someone will find this info useful: Prowler's Talisman gets atomatically updated on all characters when new gem is applied.

    Default stats:

    d1qHAD8.jpeg

Gem of Agility upgrade (from Dynamic encounters) increases the amount of raw stats and recoveries slightly:

    XltPOv8.jpeg

Gem of Stealth (from completing new Thieves Guild questline) reduces the cooldown of invisibility:

It really pains me that we have to wait so long for the two more upgrades :(

I dont think the upgrades are tied to which piece you get bc I only have the Gem of Stealth, but my invisibility cooldown is still 45 seconds. Its probably the first upgrade increases the stats, then 2nd is cooldown drop.

Yeah. Most information I've read from a couple different sources claim it's based on the number of upgrades and not tied to specific gems.

    Here's UESP's breakdown..

The first character I did the quest line on failed the second key but was able to still complete the quests afterward so you only need two keys to complete the quest line.

So If you only need two keys to complete where is the third key going?
