    Radio silence from ZoS :(

    @ZOS_Kevin

I've noticed they'd been particularly quiet lately as they seemingly prepared for today's stream. They are going to be very active now after the announcements I imagine, and should hopefully get back to you as this is indeed a mishap on potential event/reward engagement.

Bumping this @ZOS_Kevin can someone please aknowledge this?

ZOS, I refuse to buy anything if their is no preview! We can preview styles when they're in the crown store and/or crates, so why not the Gold Coast Bazaar? Who makes these decisions that make literally ZERO sense? If this was brought up by players on the PTU why was it ignored?

You ever wonder what he's doing as weeks worth of tags seemingly get ignored?

I definitely do feel ignored by @ZOS_Kevin. Feel ignored by any ZoS staff lurking this thread. This was an issue on PTS.

Daddy Kevin neglects me too, even after they promised to communicate more 😔

I think they're scared to respond to anything some folks ask now, even if it's an unrelated thread or topic, because I think it's a reality that players would say "Thanks. So why didn't you respond to ___ issue in this other thread when we respectfully asked you for weeks?" which of course would only cause themselves more problems, as they'd ignore that.
I know I certainly won't let my concerns down, despite it being ignored and attempted to be buried. I like Kevin and Gina, I really do. Kevin can poke good fun and also address situations well. Gina cracks me up on the dev streams, and I so jive with that scatterbrained personality she has. She's a gem, and really puts spirit into my perception of the crew. But I also don't let my enjoyment act as an absconsion, and I will point out the public visibility of when they do not respond to something.
My concern was found during Heart's Week about potential hate messages from ZOS, with uncertainty as to the nature of it. I don't think I could have been any more courteous and moderate when I (and other players) tried to escalate our concerns to various staff, across multiple threads and weeks. Not a peep.
So I don't think it's even about how people ask, either.

It makes me think of Almalexia. "He spoke not a word as he died... not a whisper. Even in death he mocks me with his silence!"

When silence begets more silence, what is the impact that has on everyone?

It was so disheartening to see the incredible work at the start of the year very quickly dissolve after just a few months.

You'd think there'd be a focus on something like this, with players not being willing to spend currency/engagement on a product due to not even being able to see it...
But who knows, maybe if you tag Gina or someone else, it'd get a response. But I haven't seen anyone respond to inquires lately. And I'm not invested enough in this thread to try to get their attention myself– I doubt I'd be interested in the new skill styles, based on their prior attempts.

I'd just assume they don't answer when there's nothing to report. I've seen them answer with a "we're looking at that" or a "no plans to do that right now" kind of answer, but this might be in the queue to be discussed or something, I don't know. There are other preview issues too (people have been asking for the ability to zoom out for previews), so perhaps it's all being looked at.

There are a lot of outstanding issues that haven't received a response tbh, including years old bugs, so I generally just put it down to "nothing to report". When you think about it, it's a pretty small team fielding our questions, and now they've also got the reddit community to talk to, so I think they've got their hands full.

But that's just it. Saying "We'll make sure the team is aware. We may not have anything to report afterwards, due to high workload and high priority items" is improved communication– that thing they said is important to them.

" " is not improved communication.

From my understanding, only a few mods on here speak to the devs. Many other mods are only here just to moderate the community rules.
And if so, then while we can assume a mod of some sort has seen player feedback, it is not as reliable to assume that the devs have seen it. Or if they have, whether or not they are planning to do something about it.

A positive example is them saying they are looking into VFX toggles. That's wonderful! People have been asking for it for a long time, and communicating it when they did was significant, responsive, appropriate, and truthful. Heck, it's what got me to resub to ESO+, even though the feature isn't out yet and hasn't even been talked about more. It is enough to know that they saw our concerns as valid, found Finn's "golden nugget of truth" in our feedback, and put it on their list.
Same with the monster hunter personality. It's frustrating that they didn't design something in a logical way in the first place, and I still don't understand why it's out of their scope currently... but them acknowledging that it is, is good communication. I've even debated getting the personality anyways, just because the communication means to me that it might be something significant enough to them that they come back to adjust it in the future.

There are of course going to be understandable limits and boundaries, but some of these threads going unmet just make it seem like the mods have all turned soul-shriven in their offices, or they are intentionally blocking communication with feedback.
