Anyway here ist he link for these who are interested in giving their feedback to Vengeance :

And for those who are not in the forum registrated but reading this ; you dont need to be on the forum registrated to use the link for giving your feedback about vengeance.
Just had to be registered + marketing permissions on to even recieve them
Nicely done. Most people did not get the first "survey" even when being opted in to merchandising. Oddly enough, I did not get the first survey, but I did get the second one.
I'm wondering though, why didn't ZOS post the link to the survey on these forums to begin with?

Only players who played Vengeance this time should give feedback on it.

It may be random sampling for better accuracy

I hate getting spammed with stuff. How is this related to marketing?
I played in the Vengeance Campaign on PS/NA most days for an hour or so. I received the survey email, and I am happy that ZOS sent me one!
Separately, about the Account, and the Marketing Preferences. I have an account for ESO, because I use it to follow up on bug reports that I submit. Anyone that plays the game should be able to get an account here
Having an Account is separate from the Forum. My ESO Account login has a different username and password than my ESO Forum login.
When you login to your Account, you will see a choice for Marketing Preferences. I have the choice checked for "Sign me up for the latest Bethesda game news, updates, access to exclusive betas, and more!" I do not have the choice checked for "I want to be included in custom campaign groups for more relevant ads and targeted content". In the past 30 days, I have received 7 emails from The Elder Scrolls Online. One for the Vengeance Campaign survey, two about Free Scribing, one about Vengeance Returns, one about June News and Updates, one about Zeal of Zenithar, and one about Crown Crates.
I can attest to this, and also want to point out that it explicitly says; "from Bethesda Softworks," and I have no interest in marketing across all of Bethesda Softworks.@ZOS_Kevin I understand that there are probably policies that you have to follow regarding sending unsolicited mails to players who didn't opt in, but it does seem strange to have the permissions for things like feedback lumped together with marketing. I suspect most of the people in this thread who didn't get a survey had simply not opted in to receive what many would perceive to be spam.
I think things like surveys--not just for this campaign, but also the random feedback surveys that I've seen over the years--should be a separate setting. Perhaps one that is opt-in by default?
I would not reasonably expect a person reading the following text to think that it would also cover things like feedback surveys:
I agree, and I will not opt into this on just to be able to get surveys.
Apart from the fact that the check box says nothing about them (surveys about ESO are neither news nor updates or beta access, and not from Bethesda) - I don't sign up for email spam.
Find a better check box.

Flooding a survey about anything with negative reviews, and publicizing a survey link to solicit others with like-minded hostility about something to flood the survey with fake negative criticism, interferes with the process of collecting genuine feedback from active participants.

They apparently do..... with Vengeance. All the socials, Reddit posts, zone chat all were talking about it during the test with lots of positive vibes and busy campaigns. Hence this thread...tomofhyrule wrote: »There's not much ZOS could add to make PvP more enticing either
Only the niche of the niche was asked. A really small percentage of the player base who are on the forum - with certain settings.

As another poster pointed out above, that link looks like it has a unique identifier. Having multiple people use it would probably not work.

As Kevin said, they wanted *one* of the sources of feedback to come from people who verifiably at least entered the campaign during the test.

In addition to what others have said, forum users are only a portion of the player base at large.
Posting a survey link to the forums, and ONLY taking feed back that way would not allow the players who never use the forums to let their opinions be known.
I don't know why some people who say they are opted and participated, didn't get a link, but to me, it would seem to be far easier to send out survey links through emails, and thus potentially get a lot more people who participated in the test involved, than it would be to post it in a place that relatively few people actually use.

It's been made very clear in this thread (including by Kevin) that a customer survey link was sent to everyone who:
a) participated in the test
AND
b) had marketing mails set to "yes" on elderscrollsonline.com

That was the plan, at least, and I would hope it did go out to a lot more people than are just on the forums.
But something went wrong between what ZOS says they did and what happened, as I was not the only one I know who participated in the first test, had been opted in to emails for a long time prior to the test (and did not opt out), and yet never got the first survey. I did get the advertisement about the first test (and still have it), just not the survey. I would have done it.
I’m glad they intended to be inclusive, but I don’t know the reason for the disconnect between intention and result here.
