And the fishing sacks? They may as well be Wet Gunny sacks for the amount of Ta I looted. (Of course, when I say 'looted', I mean, I got the Angler achievement and with that I logged a total of 9 Algae Laden Packs

I still haven't found a recipe or a furnishing via the sacks - but I have fished up farm more than 9.

I ended up respec'ing my CP for the fishing node, I pulled out Sharp-as-Night, and I eat an Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl. I don't know if the sacks count as "Rare Fish" exactly for the food buff, but the buffs from all of this does seem to help - I've looted 32 of them so far.

And of course, zero furnishings or plans. Plenty of Rekeipa and Meip though -_-
Also no Leads - I've no idea if theres a fishing specific Lead or not, but it seems like a safe bet to me at this point that Solstice Giant Crocodile Skull can come from fishing: I've gotten this from looting bodies, from a resource node, from a barrel and from a safebox. Seems to me that its one of those "from all sources" pieces.

Sad to hear this is business as usual for furnishing plan drops in the new zone. All it does is put gold in the pockets of those who don’t do housing because they can make millions per plan by selling them and they have no interest in learning them.

I just got a Praxis: Alinor Bowl, Shallow Limestone from a backpack and a Formula: Murkmire Lamp, Hanging Bottle from an urn in Solstice. Kinda wondering if the loot pool includes all furnishing plans instead of the normal and Solstice ones and that's why the drop rate is so bad.

Yes, it does. It includes *all* the old ones, including the white lvl 1 furnishing plans. So you can spend the evening farming like crazy and end up with a bag full of old white, green and maybe blue cooking recipes and furnishing plans.

Which makes this abysmal droprate even more frustrating than ever.

ZOS' refusal to keep each zone themed, with furnishing plans OR music (keep the Gold Coast screeching violin out of Valenwood!!!) is irritating and mystifying.

So wonderful to continually find 'Wood Elf Vase, Chipped" every new chapter/dlc/season/contentwhatever. I have long since had that 'dopamine' hit when a plan is found, b/c 99.9999999% of the time it's a base game worthless one (especially if there are two with the champion point passive-lol)

I think everyone is missing the point.

It isn't because this is fun or engaging content. It isn't due to respecting customer time.
It is to pump numbers. Plain and simple.

This is no different than the release of every DLC. Players just tend to forget over time.

If those are dropping then it's a bit of a departure from previous DLCs. Base game furnishing plans have always dropped in DLC zones. But those two are DLC plans, and that type have never crossed over into another DLC before. I really hope that's not the case here. I'm on console so have a week to go yet, and that doesn't bode well.

    Until now I got:
    - 3 new blue furnishing plans from stealing
    - 2 new (small) furnishings from pickpocketing
    - 1 new purple furnishing from opening chests
    - 0 from fishing
    - 0 from nodes

And some old stuff not worth mentioning.

The fact that one year later, a purple plan from the previous zone is listed for over 1 million gold means the drop rate is too low.

On PSNA, I see purple plans listed at exorbitant prices for Dawnwood plans. But those are because the seller doesn't know the difference between the Dawnwood plans that dropped with Gold Road, and the Dawnwood plans that dropped with the latest update. They just see the word "Dawnwood" and assume they're all valued the same.

Doesn't mean they're selling at those ridiculously jacked up prices.

Not long ago it was some Necrom structural furnishing plans and some Apocrypha structural furnishing plans.

Not justifying the practice, just pointing out the fact that it has been this way for as long as I can remember and the exceedingly rare occasions when furnishing plans were forthcoming it was an 'oopsie' on their part and they patched it pronto.

Personally I gave up on finding them in the wild, absolute waste of time, I can make the gold required to buy them from traders orders of magnitude faster and use the time I saved to do something more fun, like trying to find an uninterrupted path on the grain on my floorboards that will take me from one side of the living room to the other.

Let us know when you find that uninterrupted path 🤣😭💀

I run about 3/4 char through Temple each day and I have made millions since the start of this update from selling Tide-born plans.

From fishing i have got 2 of the purple Design: Tide-Born Floor Lamp, Coral, 1 blue and 1 green.

I spend about 2-3 hours on my farming, just waiting for the next zone update.

I’ve opened about 50 algae-covered support packs without a furnishing recipe yet. Is this bad rng, or is the drop rate this bad? Or worse?

I have opened 272 so far, most of them trader purchased, and got 1 green plan.

Got some furnishings tho which go pretty well on my Grand Topal guild hall so there's that.

Late to this party, but the fact that one of these is an Alinor plan and the other one is a Murkmire plan makes me wonder if they just added Alinor and Murkmire furnishing plans to the Solstice drop tables to give Solstice more content and simply because Solstice is a place where these two races both live in imperfect harmony?
