The UI is a bit distracting and confusing at first. To start, the golden font on the Activity Finder is very distracting. As someone who hates seeing numbers on their inbox, unread notifications, I immediately want to resolve it. I get that it tells people there's a new feature, but please give us a way to quiet the UI. One of the game's strengths is its minimalist UI, so this cuts right through that.

Coming from PS5-NA, I also think I had some bugs. I claimed the first reward and the prompt to claim it wouldn't go away until I zoned. There was also a flashing around the first reward that didn't go away after claiming. There seemed to be a delay in the system acknowledging my input, which could be related to the performance issue still awaiting status updates and/or resolution.

The rewards are ok. Glad it's tied to the anniversary, I just hope more attractive rewards are tied to this. Rare motifs, apex mounts, that sort of thing. Also, from an effort perspective, this is something I'll complete in an hour or less. I'm not saying it should be overwhelming activity that literally takes a week, but more than an hour of effort would make me more engaged. Assuming the reward is worth it.

I know others aren't happy with the rewards and the scale of the pursuit, but I think it is scaled just right for being an introduction to the concept, as hinted with the "Welcome to Golden Pursuits". I'll be interested to see where it goes, and I hope that the Elven hero costume will get a similar 10 year anniversary glow-up.

Nice little intro to the system and free rewards!

I feel like the arrow to the knee should be in a "body adornment" section under appearance, instead of minor adornment.

I feel like the yellow Golden Pursuits highlight in the menu should go away once you've earned everything from the current offering.

Just wanted to say that these are fantastic!

The arrow in the knee as a permanent adornment is actually hilarious! Love it. Also a fan of the updated costume for sure - much better than the OG! Fantastic job art team!

I also think having just 4 tasks that culminate in the capstone reward is good for the first one, but I think players, including myself, are looking forward to 12-16 with multiple step rewards along the way! Big fan of this system and excited for its future!

I have a couple pain points I'd like to bring up though - more "concerns" than anything else.

1) I think having potentially months in between campaigns is way, way too long. This is a fantastic new system bringing TANGIBLE rewards to players. Endeavors, as we all know, is not nearly as tangible, taking 6-8mo more often than not for a dedicated player to get the "capstone" reward (16k endeavors). Having a couple weeks in between is reasonable to build back excitement, but more than that I feel will be way too long.

2) I like the theme! My big thing is that I hope y'all are planning on developing NEW assets and not simply bringing in re-skins or old crown store items from years ago as many players will have that stuff and it'll be much, much less exciting. Free is great! But, to build excitement and engagement, I think developing brand new costumes, mounts, or whatever specifically for capstone rewards is paramount. The step rewards are free game! But, the capstone rewards I feel should be new!

Just my 2 cents.

How do you turn off the Golden Pursuits tracker? Is there an option like to turn off quest tracker?

Go to the Golden Pursuits menu and you can unpin the tasks there.

i kind of like them, mostly simple endeavor-like tasks which give immediately tangible rewards

endeavors are alright, but they are only valuable if there are items you want to get in the crown store that cost crown gems (98% items being in the crates, 2% being other gem-exclusive offerings)

I don't know if my feedback on PTS was considered, but so far I really like this new Golden Pursuits system on live

On PTS, I was very disappointed and angry with this system, because each reward there was old cosmetic item owned by me and many other people (except for some crown crates, as you can never own too many crown crates).

1. It is easy, it didn't require any exhausting tasks - just normal gameplay without stress.

For group dungeon, I took my NPC companion to finally complete the story quest in Bedlam Veil dungeon without interruptions from other players. I had this in mind for a long time, and never had enough motivation to actually do it. Golden Pursuit system arrived just in time! I don't enjoy soloing bosses (especially as my companion is dead most of time), but reading notes, taking screenshots and hearing all NPC voice lines was the best experience I had in a very long time

I noticed few details which I never noticed before, because each group of players was just rushing ahead...

2. It offers unique rewards. This is very important for me - I don't want to see any old items there, never. New items make sure that each player gets full reward package from Golden Pursuits. Nobody feels sad because they already own some item, especially if they purchased this item from the crown store.

The only exception is crown crates as rewards - there can never be too many crown crates

I hope that this system will continue to offer unique items, so each new reward track will be exciting for everyone. It's ok if these items will be released for sale in the store later, but their first introduction must be in Golden Pursuits.
