So you used to play DAoC and yet you don't understand the great importance of balancing things in a timely manner? Midgard melee trains mezzing an entire zerg and then stun lock killing them one at a time with no counters. Slow balancing will kill a new game quickly, if Bolt Escape being nerfed makes such a big impact as to cause Sorcerers be underpowered then the ability was too strong and nerfing it can let other skills be brought up.

No its the knee jerk nerfs which ruin games at times. If they nerfed it too much and it caused it to be unpowered the class then its been nerfed too much. Bolt escape has counters i have had it done to me and i have countered it with the DK pull. This isn't small scale pvp where an ability like this might be considered OP as they could teleport all over the map. Given the Size of the AvA there is nothing wrong with it.

TY for your opinion based perspective, mine was also differently based. I quoted a PvAll census classes played, that has bee active since launch. It favored my argument that sorce is not the most played, and equal played at the very least class (and per the double census lowest played)... I started a PvP only census that has not yet shown different. I wanted to offer oportunity to an unbiased PvP only classes played poll. TBH I see every big sorcere name but many NB big names have not voted in the poll, even though they are the highest played on both polls.

There are factors that make any poll inaccurate. Forums users being a giant factor. But there is currently NO support that sorcerers are majority and barely considered equal play by all polls.

I am not trying to negate your opinion only show I have tried to offer a best effort to unbiased poll as possible.

ESO competitive PvP rule #1 is: Reroll a Sorceror, or quit the game.

They are out of control indeed, and it's the most broken PvP mechanic I have seen in YEARS of mmo pvp. Those who say there are counters are not realistic. It might work if you are lucky on BAD sorcerors, but sorcerors with a little skill = invincible, untouchable, and kill stuff while being so.

The fact that escape bolt stuns as well is just even more of a bad joke.
They need to give a 3-4 second debuff on escape bolt, so its not spammable and effective to use it on far distances.

Well escape bolt has taken over ESO pvp
