Timers hurt legit players, not bots.
Anything that "hurts" bots hurts players that farm.
WoW has random node spawns. Still botted.

I'm sure it is not possible, but I would love for target-able bots and bot hunting abilities. Being able to have Bot Hunting Parties would clear up those pesky Harvester Bots, Spam Bots, and "Boss" Mobbing Bots.
Maybe have a tourney, or just some achievements.
I have asked Zeni a bunch of times if they could figure a way to do this until they may fix the bot issues. Otherwise it's the mini game as usual, report, report, and report.

Who's being negative? bots are bots, they run on a 24/7 script. The bots are hurting the crafting in the game, period.

Indeed they do, hence why, although my suggestions are not always welcome, I do try to suggest ... things
A shame some people seem unable to have a constructive way of discussing this, and simply hammer "timers are bad" non stop, completely ignoring the other suggestions I made, and the fact those areas are already ungatherable, so adding a timer wouldn't change anything as long as the bots infest them, and only the bots would suffer from it. They also seem to conveniently ignore the cost/minutes of bots. If the timers had no impact on bots, they'd never have left the dungeons would they? Yet, here we are...

I can never agree to that. The bots themselves will keep going yes. However, the companies behind them need the bots to actually be profitable. Please read the explanation I made earlier in the thread. Bots have costs, when the profit margin gets too low per bots/minutes, the bot operator either move onto something else, or leave.
Like stated before, entire areas are ungatherable, how would it hurt anyone, but the bots, if they were ungatherable for 10 minutes or 2 hours, They already ARE unusable to players...
I'm sorry, but your logic is completely flawed, and you fail to see the fact that if an area is already useless, having it locked for gathering won't change anything for the players in the current state of things.
