The Supplemental Thread vision doesn't seem to work in co-op. I wish I had captured it in-game, but all I can do is describe it.

I was co-op with another person. We had 2 Threads left. We HAD had 1 Thread, but several portals back I had taken the Supplemental Thread vision and now we should have 2 Threads. The other player died, then I died too. I revived where I died and got the "1 Thread Remains" screen. My teammate revived at the Wayshrine. I was then sucked into the floor and the run ended...

Supplemental Thread has to work for both players cause Threads are shared between players and only get deducted when both players die. It makes no sense for only 1 player to have more Threads then the other.

i havent noticed a problem with it, but it comes up so rarely its hard to tell lol

i have had an issue when running with someone else when we died on a boss, the boss did not reset properly and it cost us 2 threads (one when we first died, and one after that when the boss actually reset when we finished reviving from the ghost form)

not sure if that would be related

at least once i remember getting the supplemental thread in co op and it did work correctly on that run, so im not sure if it was one of the other reset issues going on that cost you an extra thread

I have also gotten that "Thread loss due to improper reset" issue on bosses. I have also gotten the "Thread loss due to being too far away from mob pack" issue on non-boss floors. This Supplemental Thread issue could be a variation of those issues... maybe. I rez'd "Here" just fine and was told "1 Thread Remains", but my teammate was not given that option. They rezed at the wayshrine instead and the run ended with me being pulled into the floor with tentacles. There wasn't a reset stutter, or a player dying. It was like the game detected me being out of bounds incorrectly and shut the run down.

im curious, who was the group leader and who claimed the vision?

im wondering if its buggy if the non-group leader is the one who claims the vision

it shouldnt matter either way since it should count for both players but im wondering if that might have something to do with it

If I had to guess, Supplemental Thread probably doesn't come up as long as you have 3 Threads. At least, I can't remember it ever coming up to give me > 3 Threads. Most player may burn all Threads on one boss, or end up losing all Threads very quickly once they lose 1. It's just a supposition that fits what I'v seen, but of the times I can remember where I got Supplemental Thread, I had lost 1-2 Threads, then went at least 3-4 Cycles before seeing it come up as a Vision. *shrug*

I was the group leader and I claimed the vision.

I do remember that when I picked up Supplemental Thread I was given the notification "2 Threads Remaining". I commented about it and my group member did not see that notification. Not sure if that means anything...

i think that one most commonly appears when you only have 1 thread left, as that is the only time ive seen the vision come up lol, probably why it was so rare for me since most of my runs have been long (like arc 5+)

i can usually make it through arc 4 without even losing a thread most of the time

interesting though that you saw the notification but your partner did not, definitely something weird with the thread tracking though
