I just cancelled my sub. If they fix this within the time remaining on 30 days i might renew it. But, until it's fixed NO your not getting anymore money.marderforhire wrote: »over-reacting or have not played mmos before
I have been playing MMOs for fourteen years now and this is one of the worst launches yet...next to TOR and AoC.Daemoneyes wrote: »
This.
You're so full of crap it's not even funny.
Ever hear of Diablo 3, eve online? WOW? Those were some of the worst day 1 launches in mmo history.
This launch was smooth. I've yet to have an issue other then minor log on issues at peak hours.
HEY I played all of those games at launch and guess what...NONE of them had character wipe bugs and the bugs that were there were fixed quickly and the support team seemed like they cared...unlike this one.
This is the worst launch since TOR.

Seriously, I would have been banned for cursing at the CSR.

Also, I do not subscribe to the idea that just because, historically, MMOs have had many issues at launch, we, as consumers and gamers, should tolerate an inability to rely upon the progress and items we have made in ESO. Many players can't log in, or spend hours waiting for log in queues. Some players have had their characters deleted. Others are experiencing rollbacks, essentially having to redo quests and progress made, repeatedly. And yet others are experiencing massive deletions of bank inventories and space, which is quite expensive. Zeni has a situation where a major portion of their subscriber base is experiencing not just problems with the game, but a waste of their time. It's significant.
You're overreacting. No, they will not refund you for what you say is "broken and should not have been launched." (Have you even heard of the game Battlefield 4?)
What you are dealing with now is a product of playing/using a product at first launch (version 1.XX). It hapens; and furthermore, it needs to happen. The hardships now help to make the game better in the long run.
I'm not quite sure what people don't understand about this concept...
