Singing Skald Costume: How Does It Dye?

I'd love to know how the new Singing Skald costume dyes. I'm interested in the locations of the dye channels (even more than how well dyes take to it). In particular, upon seeing those bright gold clasps and the trim, I'm concerned that once again this will be a great costume that is afflicted with the "no we love gold and only bright gold so you must have permanent madly shining gold" condition that many of the other costumes seem to have caught from someone in the design team.

Can anyone help answer this question?

The outer shirt/pants are the same dye channel, the inner shirt is its own along with the slashes in the arms, and the boots/bracers are the third dye channel. The gold bits are, unfortunately, stuck gold. From what I tested earlier, the bits you can dye seem to take colors fairly well, but I haven't had the chance to experiment much with it.

I'm very bothered that the jacket's clasps are gold, but the belt's buckle and details are silver

So, not only can't we dye those, they don't even match.

I noticed the same thing, and was really hoping that the gold bits on this one would be able to be dyed, since I suspected the belt's details would remain silver, as they're much less prominent. ARGH. This obsession with forcing bright gold on costumes is ridiculous! It absolutely ruins so many otherwise well-designed assets!

The red feather in the hat is also undyeable...if you even want to use the hat.

If that's the only thing you don't like about it, the devs said in another thread they were looking into that:

Dyes great but makes you completely bald, which looks TERRIBLE on female human or elf characters (in my opinion).

I don’t trust them anymore. I’ll buy once the fix is in place and not a second before.
