Look here the crown store showcase ( https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/58315 ):

We get a mournhold packrat as inventory pet, it grants 5 additional inventory slots (aviable: June 11 at 10am EDT on all plattforms), what do you think? (i think it is cute, but another crown store pet?) Do they know how much crowns are spend on the (way to expensive) crates? I wish it would be aviable ingame...or at least they make some more pets ingame aviable... maybe through fishing, gathering, hunting (all random drops)... well i guess we should be happy that the new antiquity system comes with one more ingame mount ( still wonder why they made just one, well maybe they release more in that style). Anyway just wanted to inform you.

As a person chronically incapable of managing her inventory, I'm hoping that the Mournhold Packrat pet will stack with the pay-to-win piggy. I wonder if it will also be 1200 Crowns?

Frankly, I'd be quite happy to pay 12,000 Crowns and get 50 more inventory slots per character. This would be useful to ZOS because they wouldn't even have to go to the effort of designing a pet!

That rat doesn't look like it can carry more than two wedges of cheese though <.<

I'd pay that much for that much space, but I think it feels more fun to be surprised with a new pet in the store now and again.

I'll roll up all the Motif pages I've been storing in my bank, and make it carry those.

I'm sure a few parchments weigh less than two wedges of cheese. It will by my Scrollrat. Though I agree, making it carry your Rubedite ingot stacks may not be a good idea.

Question is, does it give an additional 5 spaces if you already owns war piggy? They have the same function, so question is if they stack or they don't.

It stacks. So you are basically paying 1,200 crowns for the ability to store an extra set of armor per character.

So if you create a new char after buying a pet that gives inventory your new char starts off with the five additional slots? I would assume so but I just thought I’d ask to be sure from someone who knows 🙂

Yes

When I saw another pack pet coming to store, I was like "I'm not sure, I will just wait and purchase it later sometime, or maybe never..."
When I explored the world a little, my inventory was like:

I wish there was also option to buy those additional bag slots for lower cost without the pet. In my case, I don't use boar pet, and won't use the rat pet.

There was also pack donkey datamined long time ago (I won't use donkey pet as well

).
