    Yay! I finally received a note from Customer Support in which the rep says "I am now forwarding your details to my supervisor, who will in turn pass it on to the specialist team tasked with restoring losses such as yours!" I'm a little confused by the status: customer reply required, but will worry about that another day. For now I'm just pleased to learn that my ticket wasn't accidentally deleted. Thank you, John of Zenimax! <3

    I have since rebought my bank slots which from what I was just reading is risky. Please refund me my missing gold and the cost of my bank slots I had to re-buy.

    You may be in for a long wait. They sent me a similar reply for my ticket about my Explorer's Pack. Still nothing.

    Bank slots dropped from 80 to 60 and all items were gone. Found some of the items on an alt char. At all, I didnt loose that much. With the second full set of ce treasure maps (which got send to me) my loss probably is already covered. Most fo the items of my bank box were meant to get extracted. Actually I lost my collected fishing baits (100 crawlers and 100 worms), 1 racial style and stuff that i dont remember.
    Only interesting on my incident might be, that all happened during/with a Cyrodiil zone crash this evening. When I was stuck on the loading screen on my first attempt to re-enter, I closed the game with ALT+F4 and tried first to log in with an alt, which is the one, who got a few items from my vanished bank box.

    Edit: Strange, after complaining here the 60 vanished items appeared in my bank box. The 'missing' 20 were those, that appeared on my alternate char. So ... except for the bank upgrade, i am fully restored. (But that is a loss, that i can cover with my 40+ char.)

    Step at a time! I'll probably start playing again if they patch the underlying problem tomorrow. Now that I feel assured that I'm on "the list," I can relax and practice patience. Obviously, the poor specialists have a lot of accounts to review and fix.

    I was hit by the same issue, lost 30 bank slots and 30 items in them. Reported in Question Reference # 140414-088741, until now no refund for slots, no items retrieved.

    Well, this bug is nothing if not reliable, in my case. My bank is reset literally every single day, the first time I log in with any character.

    Thankfully, as long as I don't leave items in the bank for more than a few minutes at a time, they seem safe enough. I can at least transfer items between characters. I can't believe that's something I have to be thankful for. It's pretty ridiculous that bugs like this one (and the one where players would randomly log into other people's accounts :O ) would make it through to a live release of the game.

    Ok Ticket number 140417-102555

    Reported missing 30 bank slots, gone from 90 to 60, lost 2000gp in the shared bank and lost a number of items but exactly what I am not sure. The ticket submitted in game was closed as solved after a clear cut and past saying your aware and the devs are working on it. At least refund my 2000gp and the cost of the three bank upgrades please.

    Well since it seems customer service is closing the tickets automatically after 7 days if we don't respond (according to the 2 responses I received on my issue with losing banks slots, which were by the way both the same template response). I guess I had better post something in here to ensure my request does not fall through the cracks.

    Like most people here I am anxious to see a resolve on this as well and to be honest, and perhaps a little blunt, I would think a rather significant issue such as this, which I've heard said is effecting 20% of players(pretty significant number of paying customer's), would have been fixed by now since it seems people started reporting this around April 1st.

    I have repurchased 3 of the 4 upgrades I had since this game is basically unplayable without bank slots, however according to the response my friend recently received when he also got this issue this is not recommended. It's also odd that some people got resent their imperial/pre-order bonus's alongside this issue. It almost seems like everything on the account was reset except the characters (character info may be stored separately?).

    In any case, I'm not too concerned over any items I might have lost, however would very much like to see the gold for the original 4 upgrades and the 3 upgrades I had to repurchase credited back. In closing my ticket number is as follows:

    Hope to see this fixed soon (and maybe some of the quest bugs too though I can live with those for now) as this is an otherwise very fun and well done game in my opinion.

    This is ****** from the ESO team! I am sorry that you have been met with the unfortunate circumstance of a reset bank slot. I, myself am a victim of this nasty little bug, so I understand your frustration regarding this.
    Now I can assure you that both your lost bank slots as well as your items will be restored. You will receive an in-game mail with a confirmation message regarding that, so be sure to keep an eye out for it ok? As you can imagine, there are many players like me and you that are still affected by this glitch, and we are working around the clock to help resolve it with each and everyone one of you. That being said, I am unable to give you an exact date of when this particular problem will be resolved for you, and I ask that you please bear with us in the meantime as we get this done. My appreciation for your continued patience and understanding has no end! :)

    Another victim here.. And I hate to say it but I am really reaching my limit of frustration here.

    2 Tickets open, 140414-127455 (took out an item from guild bank, log even shows I took it out and nothing is in my inventory)

    140414-109226 - Purchased my 80 slot bank upgrade and my bank instead reversed to 60 slots, all my crafting stacks are gone and I have no space now.

    Leveling provisioning and enchanting, not having bag space is a real pain in the a$$... On top of it I don't have more gold to repurchase the 3 upgrades AGAIN which is what really upsets me.

    Both tickets have come back to be as "resolved". but it clearly is not, the guild bank item is still missing and my guildies think I stole it and sold it since I'm not wearing it, and my bank space is still 60 with all items from missing from 60 to 90.

    Customer service has been horrible. Everything is canned text - not actual responses from customer service. I have been on the forums daily. Everyone who has an open case has the exact same response. After my ticket was submitted, NO ONE owned the case and kept me informed. After seven days, my case was closed and marked as resolved - which it was not. CS ignored the problem for 168 days in hopes it would go away. They are not equipped or experienced enough to handle the huge flood of major bug problems. Many people, including myself, have cancelled subscriptions and I have gone so far as to get a refund on my product since it is CLEARLY broken. Zenimax or who ever it is owning the the support tickets is offering NO consolation to the thousands who have lost everything and put countless hours into this game. Offer the people SOMETHING. Give them a reason to stay. Tell them, when it is resolved, you will be rewarded something. Make it worth their while to wait out the bug. Nothing to that effect is being done. CS remains silent and just hopes the nightmare will pass and everyone will be happy. Communication is the BIGGEST ally you have for the bug plaguing the system now. Does no one at Zenimax, ESO read the forums? From what I have read, MANY would be willing to stay if only someone would COMMUNICATE to them and OWN the case.
    I may come back much, much later after its had time to mature but until then, count me out.

    Which by the looks of it is flagged as being resolved. I dont have an issue with the items being lost, I have an issue with the bank slots being addressed and the gold that was lost purchasing those slots all the way from 60-100.

    This issue has happened to my twice and in my opinion has something to do with the CE items being moved around from your mail attachment -> bank -> alt character. Bank slots reset to 60 and the CE items were regenerated in my mailbox.

    Nope. A friend of mine and I both pre-ordered the imperial ed the same way and the same day. I was hit with the bug - he was not and so far still hasnt.

    My subscription has been canceled and 19 days of game time remain. If a fair solution is not applied by then, I am walking away from ESO.

    At this point, bugs have turned the game into a big headache that is not worth playing.

    @woodlandwoodsb Dont just walk away!! While there is still time, get a refund!! I was already credited a refund on my product. A double-whammy hurts much more than a single whammy. I will continue to monitor the forums and perhaps return some day. Much later after it has had time to mature

    This missing bank slots just happened to me today. While I don't think I lost any items that's because all the items above the 60 item limit were placed in my first 2 characters individual inventory which now makes them unplayable since they are a max in their inventory. Don't remember if I had any gold on deposit but I do think there was some.

    Now that I think about it can't really play my other characters because should they collect items I would need to put in the vault I can't additionally can't craft either as many of the crafting items are sitting on my first 2 characters and since there not in the bank can't be used by any of my other characters.

    I got affected by the missing bank upgrades bug as well. No missing skill points and looks like i didn't lose any items from the bank, but submitted a ticket, got a canned reply and the ticket was set to "Solved". Yet, I still only have 60 bank slots.

    I just changed characters and then I got a mail with all my CE items back. Now my bank is gone. All the items too. Actually it screwed up my character's inventory now too and it's all full. I can't even play the game because I can't even pick up items. I hope this gets fixed soon, this is pretty ridiculous that it's still happening after your patch which was supposed to fix it.

    I am writing off my items as gone and the capability to upgrade my bank from 60 measly crappy crummy slots as not going to happen anytime soon.

    @‌Yvonell my guild leader lost gold, items and slots and got word from word exactly the same response.

    His comment on our guild site was
    Great.. so I lose a load of cash and a bank full of gear and i get a "its a bug" response.. not happy at all

    Zenimax needs to get its communication sorted out, that is doing them far far more damage than the actual bug and I honestly believe if zenimax had simply taken the time to respond every day (especially correcting where customer service reps haven't made themselves clear in emails reposted here) a lot of those who have asked for refunds and / or cancelled their sub, probably wouldn't have done so.
