Yay! I finally received a note from Customer Support in which the rep says "I am now forwarding your details to my supervisor, who will in turn pass it on to the specialist team tasked with restoring losses such as yours!" I'm a little confused by the status: customer reply required, but will worry about that another day. For now I'm just pleased to learn that my ticket wasn't accidentally deleted.
