@dsalter Try again. I'll wait.
I always(personal opinion) find that people who initiate the Vote to Kick are usually(mainly but not all) the weak links of the group.

Except the person used the terms "always" and "usually" in the same context, which literally can't be done, as always means 100% and usually means only sometimes. The way he used them can only be correctly interpreted as "always", because following "always" with "usually" simply does not work.

You should have a limit to the vote kicks you can initiate per day. So you save them for when they are actually needed.
Jayman1000 wrote: »You probably got kicked because you tried to play a healer, even if that was the role you signed up for. In normal dungeons many players expect everyone to be a dd that can survive by themselves and they see you healing, not doing much damage so you get kicked. It's stupid in my opinion, but that's how it works for some.
The real blame is on ZOS though, for not giving us proper dungeon finder tools. If there are players that just want to run normals all dd, then frakkin give the ability to choose that if that is what they want in the dungeon finder, then it could find likeminded individuals that also wants to do 4x dd. And then you could choose in the dungeon finder to be healer with other likeminded players that also like to actually play the role they sign up for.

Vote kick if the DPS is spamming light attacks and isn't responding to chat or voice.
Vote kick if the player is slotted as a healer/tank to bypass the queue wait
Vote kick if the player is being rude, offensive, or inconsiderate.
You do not need to vote kick:
simply based on a players rank, before they can even demonstrate their ability to play the game.
your farming wishes
your preconceived notions of what an acceptable rank is
in pretty much any normal non-dlc dungeon.
[snip]
1. Who cares if dps isn't responding to chat or voice. If they don't want to talk, they have no need to.
2. It's normal, who cares. 4 dps can clear it and unfortunately the rather weak group finder doesn't allow a queue of 4 dps so people will queue for all roles to speed up the process
3. being rude, offensive, or inconsiderate I can possibly see. But I still could not care less. Words have no effect on me. Sticks and stones and all that.
Peoples time are precious to them. They have every right to preserve their playtime in the same way you can waste theirs. They simply had the numbers needed to preserve their way.
[Edit to remove bait.]
This crap is why I don't do dungeons anymore. I'm just too disheartened. This game is full of festering boils masquerading as humans.
Get over it and queue again or play with friends
It's possible they were running it for gear and your level 33 gear would be of no use to them
Don't treat it as an attack against you
I'm confused how do you bank 375 cp?

Frankly I don't care what group I'm in, gear farming or not. My gear drops are mine. If I'm feeling generous, which most days I am, I'll give you what you are looking for. But the first hint of you demanding my property be given to you and it's over buddy. I don't play with Piggy Pugs!

She has all the required skills of a dungeon healer, certainly not the best, but she does the job quite well and I'm getting better at healing every day. I actually really, really enjoy it. I pugged into Blessed Crucible, on normal mind you, for my random dungeon XP and before we even get to the bridge before the first trash mob at the gates, bam, I'm out.
I was pissed, and really put off. I didn't even get a chance to run the dungeon, pick up the skill point, and bank the XP. Not only that but there were two 720's in the group and a 300-something. I'd expect that they can solo the dang thing let alone use the help of my lil ol' healer.
If you aren't up to snuff, and I've carried the bulk of DPS many times when the other dps just wants to spam light attacks, then vote kick it is. But before we even engage one mob?! That's not very nice and now I see why I run into people who feel this games community is toxic.
I ask the question, Alt or New to the Game? If I am told Alt, its go time.
I know how powerful a fully CP'd leveling character is when using set gear near level. Your basically a god. I am not sure if your stats are ever better if your geared right. True, your going to lack some passives that would help, which is why the game buffs you so much during leveling. I love having leveling alts in a normal dungeon pug.
If they are new, see how it goes. Then figure out what to do. Besides, zones 1 to 5 normal dungeons, with a couple of exceptions, are not all that challenging.

@Voxicity, isn't there a wait time to requeue? Or is it different when you get kicked? I assumed people who are kicked have to wait to requeue so whenever I did the queue for farming a set on normal, the amount of time they would have to wait for another queue, the normal would be finished (usually).
The point of a queue is to group people who don't have friends/guilds to be able to run the content. Telling that person to not use it for it's intended purpose seems a bit off to me. if anything, the three farmers should not be queueing if that is true. We are just speculating at this point. I can two man all normal dungeons with my boyfriend so if him or I need to farm for sets, we don't usually queue, we just two man it or if we queue, we don't kick. We see it as a way helping someone get the XP or skill point or both. A helpful community is a strong community.
This, been kicked twice in ESO, first was the queuing for CoS as cp180 and learning to heal, it was vetAzuramoonstar wrote: »This crap is why I don't do dungeons anymore. I'm just too disheartened. This game is full of festering boils masquerading as humans.
from my experience it rarely happens. been playing mmo for 10-14+ years.
in my last mmo, which I played from launch in 2013 to last month i've been kicked out a good 4 times in a vote kick abuse. (5 years of playing)
forums make it seem a bigger problem then it is, and people who vote kick don't always do it for bad reasons. Some do it for legit reasons.

I think you let your group members die a few times and want to play victim here.
Give that man a prize.I ask the question, Alt or New to the Game? If I am told Alt, its go time.

True, had noticed before that the weak link tend to be the one initiate kick, the 13K health guy who refuses food is the obvious one. Also ran into that trap before, best to just leave afterward.xxthir13enxx wrote: »Should be given option to Vote to kick person Nominated or the Person who Initiated the Vote...would make ppl think twice about starting an auto-vote
