    Yes
Only saying yes because you can change what your weapons look like. An "Axe" acting like a Sword, a "Mace" acting like a Dagger. That's not right.

I've been wearing costumes for years now and that's basically the same thing in terms of hiding my armour. If i see somebody with 25k+ hp it is usually a heavy armour wearer so that's how I tell. I usually don't inspect everyone armour in detail like "oohh that's a Trinimac heavy chest, looks like we got a tank on our hands".

i only think that it's quite ridiculous to be able to make a sword look like an axe or the inverse. other than that i like the new options.

You can melt down an axe and forge a sword.
If RP is your concern then just think of it like this.

So far the poll is pretty directional, in my direction, which is good :D

I like customization, we have needed this level of it in the game since it's inception (IMO), and the PvP enlargement is old and dusty.

And I'm tired of my PvE game getting gimped because if PvP concerns. Glad to see it moving in the other direction for once. Even if it really became an issue, an easy solution is turn off custom skins in PvP. Every other MMO in creation is already moving towards separation of PvP and PvE elements, no reason why we can't have a bit of that in this game.

But Im prefectly happy with the direction this is going, and I'm glad to see the bulk of the population agrees.

The fact that Costumes exist and can be used in Cyrodiil pretty much renders this whole concern about what a player is using moot. You can put town clothes over any armor set in the game and hide it from other other players. It has been this way since costumes were introduced in the game, which is the beginning.

Yeah I'd agree I think the cat is already out of the bag on that one.

It is flawed (taking a simple hide helmet feature and changing it in a way to encourage people to buy more outfit slots) but beyond that it works fine and doesn't introduce any new issues- seeing as you can already use costumes in PVP.

Wait does this mean if we want to hide the helmet on a regular costume, we have to completely give up the new Outfit slot just to create one with hidden helmet? I thought hiding helmet would be possible at any time but would no longer be done through the use of the setting, instead needing a station to change that.

There are two ways to hide helmet. One is using the outfit system via the Hide Helmet outfit style (which only hides gear.) The other is using the Hide Your Helm hat collectible, which can be used anytime anywhere via the Hat section of collections, and will hide the headwear part of a costume, as well as any helmet style in your outfit and your equipped helmet.

The Hide Your Helm is the true replacement of the setting. The Hide Helmet outfit style is an extra feature.

@ZOS_Maverick, can you guys please configure the hide helm to work on polymorphs? I'm really going to miss wandering around with my Xivkyn horns visible on those IC polymorphs, once this change goes live.

The player wearing the NORDIC BATHING ROBE are usually the most overpowered in pvp. They like to hide their armor and appear as a noob so you let your guard down.

Who is really looking in the PvP if the opponent use Swords or Axes? A few people? The difference in the fight is very ridiculous. Light or Heavy Armor.. you can use costumes in this time.

I agree that changing weapons from axes to daggers is a bit much, for armor it wont change much compared to current costumes and polymorphs.

I'm really happy this feature is coming tho, I hate the look of my Necropotence gear so was forced to wear costumes and polymorphs.

It actually looks like Zeni has done a really good job with this system (go look in the pts section).

My only concerns are the gold costs for outfits. It would also be nice to hide certain slots too, like shoulders.

Yeah, hide shoulders would be nice, especially for non-Heavy Armor focused, clothing Outfits. I am not going to be too fussed with gold cost. I know how to make an acceptable amount of it, albeit very repetitive...and apparently an Outfit Token can be used to cover the cost of a WHOLE Outfit making/editing session, not just a single slot, sooo...

...the biggest expense really is just gonna be my main, depending on extra Outfit Slot price each, imma straight-up try to get all 9 extra to have 10 slots on my main, then try to come up with right away as many Outfit ideas over the course of hours as I can in one go, then usethe single free Outfit Token from the Level-up Advisor thanks to the new character I will be making.

I know one could, boring as it may sound, be all Xivkyn Heavy Armor, so I could basically be a tailed Dreadguard look with specially dyed colors, if only to call it "Xivkitty Too Gamey". :D

    Yes
It has made a fake skin of things, it is preposterous and loses some authenticity in my opinion. I am not completely against having a costume but still being able to play as in armor, but to confuse things further by having a sword when you have an axe or chestplate when you have a robe changes the visual to mechanic or mechanic to visual.

We already have had costumes for as long as I can remember and PvPers have covered their armour for aeons.

Also, you just need to look at their name tags to see what class they are.

For the weapons. Does it really change anything in the way you engage someone if they are using Axes instead of daggers?
    I dont think so.
Plus, I dont think you can morph outside your weaponclass. So Dualwield morphed into 2Hand will not happen.
