Best thing with this DLC (Call it like it really is), there's still is no new class skills but just a new class which not all players will gladly want to be. This game has been out for what 3 years or so and still you have the same old class skills like lol? There are plenty of games that add an entire new tree for certain classes let alone new jobs or sub classes, every six months; Yet this game cannot even add new class skills for 3 years.
I'm not buying the DLC because I'd rather save my money as this content adds nothing but a nostalgia rush which ZOS gladly took advantage of to jack the price of the so called 'expansion'. The new trial was a incredible let down especially with the name being called "Halls of fabrication" , I kinda expected a more mystical ruins type of setting but oh well.
I'm sure the DLC will drop in price after a few months but till then, Destiny 2 cannot come any sooner

Even the WoW expansions were typically maybe a new class (every other one) or a new race (again every other one). Then maybe one raid and a couple new dungeons and battleground maybe at the launch of the expansion and their Expansions are 60$ not 40$.
I'm sure though so it was Blizzard it was perfectly acceptable and not greedy at all.

We get this with every quarterly content release. Every. Single. One.
No, this is not literally world-changing like a WoW expansion, but between the new, super-sized zone, the new class, and Battlegrounds, it is certainly more significant than "Orsinium with a volcano" like some people are claiming. Remember what income model they're working with and what rate new content comes out. Remember that they have to please the endgame players and the newbies, the PvPers and the cosmetics junkies, the roleplayers and the theorycrafters. Not all content is going to be specifically targeted at you, but that doesn't mean there's not a lot of content there.
The problem with content creation in a game like this is that devs are never, ever going to be able to keep up with the players, because it takes longer to develop content than it does to play it. Every single dungeon that you burn through in five minutes took multiple people hours to design, write, voice act, and program. If they gave you two more dungeons, you'd be complaining that there were "only four public dungeons" instead of "only two." Designing an entirely new continent would take the amount of time and money that it took to design Morrowind x 10 or so... years of development time, and then you'd burn through that in maybe a month, and then demand they create another new continent, and that they not take so long this time.
Content is finite. That's just a fact of MMOs. Either find a way to adjust to that (personally, I suggest lots of alts) or try taking a break to play something else for a while.

That game gives much more stuff than ESO, so ESO should do the same...
That other game does not charge for some of its extra stuff, ESO should do the same...
ESO gave us free stuff in the past, all subsequent stuff that's similar should also be free....

My friend has these cool piercings, lets go get my belly piercing now...
My firends parents bought them a pony, when do I get mine....
You let me go to that concert last year, why didn't you allow me to go to the 15 concerts I wanted see after that?.....
Kids will have sometimes tantrums if they don't get their own way...you see a lot of that in the forums. Its understandable for a kid to have a tantrum, they are young, most don't have the skill sets yet to overcome the fact that they cannot get what they want.
Adult tantrums are not socially accepted however. By this stage of your life you should have learned a skill set to overcome these childhood conundrums.

It's the millennial way.

Blame other people for their issues.
It's story time kiddies so gather round.
No @Sausage you can't run in place during story time @MissBizz did you bring gum for everyone...no?
Okay settle down, I want to tell of a time long ago when a brave group of developers (The bravest and most handsome being a Production assistant named Balamoor) that worked for Turbine decided to release an expansion for their very popular Lord of the Rings MMO.
After many months, of meetings, coding sessions, asset creation and of course much consumption of Coffee and sacred Doughnuts. This new expansion was christened "The Mines of Moria" and was ready to be loosed upon the world. The kind and wise gaming press heaped much praise upon the new expansion, yet many people in the village forum were angry, upset and even suicidal.
This expansion is a rip off they shouted, It is an abomination not in keeping with our personal interpretation of the great Tolkien, it doesn't give us this that or the other thing and most of all it is not a free update!!!
The angry villagers yelled with their torches and pitchforks, they threaten to quit, refused to buy the expansion and called the Brave developers greedy and evil!
The brave developers were very sad....they worked so hard, how could the villagers of forums be so upset? Had they indeed failed the people?
"Wait!" said the handsome PA Balamoor, "All is not as it seems." He then produced his magic spreadsheet of metrics known as The oracle. The Oracle, he explained tell us a different story than the villagers. We are currently 42% past our projected sales, average play time is up 34% and the accounts azzwhippa, madebritneygag, and didurmomhard....they all claim on the forums that they will not buy the expansion yet they have! And lo look at the account hot4ryanseacrest....why that IP is from the Kingdom of Sony Online!
The developers studied the magic Oracle then asked Balamoor, does this mean that these Villagers are not actually Villagers but Trolls in people suits?
And Balamoor replied "You damned skippy."
The oldest much less handsome than Balamoor but very wise lead developer and keeper of the holy pay scale asked. "So tell us Balamoor how can we understand what actually makes our Villagers happy?
We must look elsewhere beside the fake news cesspool of the forums instructed Balamoor, in the units sold and playtime, and what our villagers actually do when they log in, and we must review chat and combat logs for that will tell us much.
The developers rejoiced, their hard work was successful after all and the wicked Trolls of the village of forum were just trying to harsh their mellow. In the following years the Trolls of forum tried many tactics to mislead the brave developers, but the brave developers stayed true to their metrics.
Eventually most of the trolls wandered to other kingdoms or jumped off cliffs, but the developers lived happily ever after .
THE END.
I think it's pretty telling that a tongue in cheek account of what most developers already know makes so many of the PAWs crowd and constant complainers (how many post have been deleted now?) heads explode.
Honestly folks need to cut the caffeine, take up yoga or something.

Seriously, if we're some sort of secret conspiracy club at this point I want an invitation to the tree house and free cookies, because I ain' got any yet.
I want an invitation to the secret club house with blackjack and hookers too guuuuuuyz.
Look I have zero problems with people having a different opinion, not liking things I like, or liking things I don't. What I DO have a problem with is people like Balamoor acting all superior, and generalizing all criticism into "cry babies gonna cry". Its just pathetic that a person cannot accept that people have criticism on a game they love. And like I said, its not even about the subject with him.@Balamoor Honestly dude, don't you have any ounce of criticism in you? You are like the worst kiss ass white knight I have ever seen on these forums. And I mean in ANY topic where there is criticism you are there valiantly fighting the fight for the devs. Its quite pathetic since with you it doesn't seem to be about the subject at hand. You are just allergic to criticism and get a kick out of sucking up to ZOS.
Is it possible for someone to enjoy the game and not find the same faults as you? I would bet that the other person you quoted has a few issues with the game but does not share yours. The problem aren't the so called white knights, the problem are the whiners who think everyone should agree with how they feel and if they do not then they just get called white knights and are belittled.

I love this game and have supported it for awhile but where is the content? It's basically orsinium with a new trial and battlegrounds. We need more dungeons, more variety of things to do and there is only 2 public dungeons in the new area? I mean the story in morrowind is nice but when that's over what next? Run the same dungeons over and over and try a new trial? I can't help the feeling of being ripped off. I am sure there is content that should have been included with morrowind that will be scretched out along the rest of 2017 and then we will get the same thing in 2018. If you want to justify charging 40 or 60 bucks for a "Chapter" and call it an expansion then add an entire new continent just for end game so veterans have something to do. Stop adding these areas with barely anything to do in them once the story is over.
