need explanation about Sorc op mainly PvP

On EU, there is not tons of sorcerer, there is 60% templar and dk in heavy armor, 20% sorc, 20% NB.

Also, AD have more sorc than DC and EP because races.

Do you know how streak works? You use it and then for the next 4 seconds it costs 50% more than the first time. This keeps on stacking with every streak you use. If you are getting away from people you have to streak more than once very quickly just to make sure that they can't gap close to you. Which means you've just burnt through 9k magicka.

You know what 3 streaks in a row will cost you? In the region of 16k magicka

4 streaks, oh boy you're gonna like this one, about 24k magicka. I doubt you will have enough resources after a long fight to use that much though so good luck.

I really am doubting if you even know anything at all about sorcs...

Interesting math. Have you completely ignored every mag cost reduction there is in the game? I streak for that much as medium armor stamsorc. You dont sound at all like someone that played with or against magsorc. Three streaks, wait 4sec, 3 streaks is pretty normal disengage tactic and they always have enough magicka after it for minute(s) long fight. Or you were just trying to push your narrative...

I can only assume it's because I don't have trouble with other Sorcerers, would make sense, the length of time you spend on certain opponents general makes you feel as if you are running into them more often.

Feel like I'm running into those heavy Magplars and MagDKs everywhere haha

@Jsmalls no I'm pretty sure your actually are running into all of those heavy armor magplar lmao they are everywhere. The only magplar that you won't run into wearing heavy is blurry.Not sure how long that's going to last either.

Your probably right I can kill magsorcs just takes way longer against a decent sorc who can time his burst and shield stack.My build centered around high crit and armor pen for the other 7 specs.

The math is to an estimate (stages were rounded). You are burning through a lot of magicka if you streak without waiting, it stacks and really hurts your resources. Test it if you want.

I see you are talking about pve while I mainly about pvp where I see how stam sorc is more tankly than dk and have much better burst with mobility than dk as stam sorc and mag sorc which also have better survivability than dk/templar with his shields and always reliable mobility which is viable on on sorcs and nb but on nb it depend if someone will use det pot or reapers matk then you have no mobility tu run away on nb, I just see how sorc stam and magica have everything what is need on pvp at once while any other class cant have this all at once

Stam DK > Stam Sorc.

Pressure:
Venomous Claw + Noxious Breath > Hurricane + Implosion Lol no.
Sustain:
Battle Roar + Helping Hands > Dark Deal I'll give you that
Healing:
Major Mending = Critical Surge + Dark Deal Lol no
Mobility:
.............. < Streak + Minor Expedition

So yeah... DK overall is definitely stronger in my Opinion. The only thing that a Sorc really has going for it is the mobility.

In a duel, a DK should never lose to a Sorc of equal skill.

Purge isn't prohibitively expensive, it costs less than Coagulating Blood.

what if they also gap close?in most cases I have seen how only 1-2 peopl had good reaction to also spam gap close and then thos 2 player arnt problem for shieldstacker like a zerg, while shielstacking apply curse, crystal will proc and gg, you have time to streak again or you just killng your catchers, for sorc this isnt any bigger problem to kite just 2 people

I wouldnt said that sorc is OP. It just have brainless defense same like for example magicka templar but he can pull more dmg then templar. Still his burst combo is predictable. If You have curse on You and You see sorc hands are glowing or the crystal is flying to You then just roll dodge or block. To bypass shields You just wear shieldbreaker. I would not said there are extremly OP builds in PvP right now. Some builds just offers much easier and sometimes brainless defensive which allows them to hold on longer and longer fight last more chances that someone will make terrible mistake and builds like mag sorc or magplar are more forgiving for terrible mistakes when in other hands there are builds that have muich harder life if they'll make mistake.
