Maintenance on a weekend?

one of the issues was VMA giving two of the same type of weapon. eg, you would get two greatswords, two axe's etc everytime. so you either made out goooooooooooooooooooood or baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

Well, i think ZoS's split into some teams. When someone answers your question, the other team still works on other things, so it's doesn't matter how many times you get a reply, patch notes will relase in the same time as if you won't get any reply.

I was fine with 4 hours but now it's 8 hours. There goes my 1 day of peaceful play without constant interruptions. I know they say they're waiting on live now but I do expect more with as much money as I've put into this game.

@ZOS_DaryaK @ZOS_GinaBruno since the other thread was closed I'll ask again. We can all submit feedback to Xbox (as has been posted here they are why we can't play) regarding their issues but between companies ZOS might have a bit more pull than us common people. Has anyone from ZOS been in contact with Xbox considering they are responsible for 1/3 of your platform customers being unable to use your product?

Honestly guys, as frustrated as limited play time getting cut short is, with all that's going on in the world there are better things to be worried about or doing than raging on a forum about it.

Not this thread per say but the ten other like it. It's just a game, really...!

Sure id love to hear an update on what the urgency this am was etc, but really who cares and what's it matter - It's down, down is down. Its not a public service, its a game run by a for profit company.

Anyone that thinks its deliberate , surely can see a Saturday EU daytime is prime Crown Store sales time, this will cost them money. They are doing what they can, the MS downtime has thrown a spanner in the works, they will complete when they can. Chill!

They could take the servers down for a year and still not be able to fix the crashes in Cyrodiil.

Take servers offline for 10 hours to do a 1 hour maintenence? Lol and on a Saturday to top it off.

Nothing is simple with ZOS.
I noticed no game-breaking bugs while playing.
What was so critical that it had to be done on Saturday?
Had to be a store issue.
They wouldn't hot fix a gameplay issue on a Saturday.
Players have dealt with big bugs since release.
But a store issue?
All hands on deck!
We don't care what we wreck!

Yeah this is what I was thinking as well... Zos does not want to give us access to the game unless the Crown Store is fully functional and they can sell us stuff!! Well the joke is on them... I am not buying anything when everything is back up and running

I don't think the real question is what was the hot fix for, but who's brilliant idea was it to roll this out on a SATURDAY!

Murphys Law applies double to servers and networks, so choosing to make ANY changes on the first day of the weekend is a POOR one.

Now I have to sit here and watch the depressing news about whiney people throwing hissyfit's because they lost an election when I was hoping to get away from that crap for a while and play ESO.
