Then i bet those same people would be back here crying because they couldn't play the game anymore.

In short, we found a problem that had to be fixed immediately.GrayGhost79 wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hey guys! Thanks for hanging in there during this morning's maintenance. We're beginning to wrap up PC and PS4, but Xbox maintenance is still ongoing. We'll let you know when we're getting close to opening some of the servers.
Going forward, if a hot fix is needed on the weekend, it would be appreciated if you simply implemented the hot fix and left full maintenance for Monday or Tuesday per usual. You infringe on your customer base far less by doing so. Remember, you ran the numbers when picking the maintenance times. We now have not only had the start of our weekend impacted, but we will have to deal with any potential problems for the rest of the weekend where as normally this would only impact our Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Thank you for your work and dedication,
A paying customer
Understand your frustration for sure; we try to avoid having maintenance on the weekend at all costs. We were already prepping the PC build for Monday's maintenance, but due to how patches are prepared, we needed to publish 2.6.9 during today's downtime. It's a complicated process, but the good thing is we won't need downtime for maintenance on Monday at least.
and the problem is?
Don't think they're gonna say. Repeated questions managed to get us a repeat "we had something to fix". With Zos history of being tight on communication it could be anything from a simple fix, crown crate prep, or a complete security breach. We'll never know

Well, if they take the servers offline permanently I at least wouldn't be paying not to play so I think I'd at least be "crying" less and would feel less entitled to access it on my gaming days considering I'm no longer paying for it.
I do apologize if me feeling I'm entitled to play something on my gaming days when I pay for the privilege to do so offends you. Because I do feel entitled, since you know.... I'm paying.

Correct you are paying, you are also agreeing to the Terms of Service which states that they can take the game down and do maintenance anytime they need or want to do so. So if you feel like complaining about something you agreed to, then i suggest you take your money elsewhere instead of the same people every damn week coming here and complaining about the same thing.
Pretty much everyone that complains each and every time the servers go offline fits what Albert Einstein said
" insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results"

If everyone simply took their money elsewhere instead of complaining when a service they are paying for is interrupted then I fear you'd have nothing to play. Airing a grievance is necessary if you want to see something changed or prevent it from happening again. I'm sorry you are one of those that sits back and accepts what ever the situation is even if it affects you and others negatively, not everyone is like that. I'm sorry you don't understand how these things work. I pity you as well for not understanding there was plenty Einstein complained about and tried to change/prevent as well.

There's currently an issue with Xbox Live (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status) that is preventing us from completing maintenance on Xbox NA and EU. Once the issue with Xbox Live is resolved, we will wrap up our maintenance.
I would like to see the long version of this. WHY DID YOU NEED TO TO IT IN THE WEEKEND???
just to say it was needed is not enough. i did not have any problems at this point. at least that i could see. so why could you not wait until monday?
At least I showered I guesslol
