The damage reduction is way too harsh

This damage reduction has made it very difficult for people to defend themselves against multiple opponents. This damage reduction was necessary but the severity was way too hard and needs to be reduced.

    Wait I'm confused...you want to reduce the damage reduction or reduce damage more? Its always been hard to defend yourself against multiple opponents.

    Wait I'm confused...you want to reduce the damage reduction or reduce damage more? Its always been hard to defend yourself against multiple opponents.

    The damage reduction needs to be reduced. It's currently at 50% and honestly it should be more like 40%

    I beg to differ. The 50% is feeling pretty good. I am pretty bursty with the 50% still, but it prevents me from just mashing 3 buttons and killing someone, or visa versa. There is a little bit of strategy needed now in the fight or on who/when to engage.

    TTK with my fights is anywhere between 4-30seconds. the average is about 10-15I would guess, I can out dps templar heals. I can chase down sorcs. AoE NB's. Whittle away tanks. Or turn-tail if necessary in all of these fights if things do not go my way.

    Overall, I think it promotes more intelligent play. My playstyle/gear really has not changed much from the previous patch, but I am getting significantly better at PVP since IC came out on PC because its not a 1-2 second fight.

    That seems like a Camo Hunter glitch... it proc'd at least twice off of Snipe+Ambush+possibly the ult all landing "Out of Stealth" and shouldn't stack like that.

    Glitch or not its real and its out there, and your going to start seeing it more and more.

    This also happens with Heavy attacks from stealth with dual wield weapons. Both hits from both weapons will crit along with 2 camo hunter procs (one from each weapon).

    That's not a glitch. And there's nothing wrong with how that played out. I think the first proc is the default tick that you get from attacking out of stealth (granted by the Camo hunter morph) So it's really just one Camo Hunter proc + well timed Focused Aim/Ambush+ Soul Harvest. Not even close to a "one-shot."

    EDIT: Not positive but I'm fairly sure the first Camo proc is guaranteed out of stealth if undead or ww.

    You can get instakilled by high spelldmg builds using dawnbreaker of smiting too, as a vampire.

    Don't want to get instagibbed by camo hunter/dawnbreaker? Remove vampirism.

    You really don't want to remove that damage mitigation while I stalk the fields and hallways of Cyrodiil and the Imperial City. You seriously don't. The damage mitigation is all that is stopping me from 1 shotting any sub-20k HP player with a single out of stealth snipe.

    I can already land 11k snipes on players out of stealth in 1.7. Imagine what happens if you removed that mitigation. I don't want a continuation of 1.6 instakill madness. It's still possible to burst of course, but the mitigation ensures that only the most focused builds will be able to do so. Remove that mitigation, and people would have to make an effort not to instakill. VR16 gear allows for stupid amounts of damage, way beyond what old VR14 gear was ever capable of. The damage mitigation is needed, and I still can't believe that I'm saying that.

    This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

    The difference in damage is quite far from 37.5% though.
    The high damage in 1.6 was absolutely needed because of unlimited resources. And that has not been solved.

    I'm not a vamp (anymore) but people complained a LOT about getting insta killed pre IC. Devs responded by reducing damage an additional 35% to increase TTK.

    What your saying is basically, its only ok to insta kill players if they are vamps. Like a punishment if you will for choosing to play a vampire. Hey you get 10% increased magicka and stam regen but the tradeoff is fire does more damage to you and a couple of abilities can insta kill you....

    I dont agree with that. If your one of the people that think there should be some sort of penalty for being a vamp/ww thats fine but insta kill should not be the penalty.
