Just to be clear, B Wheeler doesnt state pulling people into keeps is an exploit. In fact, I believe pulling people into keeps has always been fully intended. What they didnt intend for was people trading emps, and utilizing pulls as a means of effectively speeding it up.


You guys are trying to beat up on Bigz in this thread over a minute issue. Fixing pulls doesnt really change the big picture. People have been trading emps with other factions on multiple servers for awhile now.

The back in forth of different threads debating the psychology of these people and their intentions is nothing short of hilarious. The real issue is with the construct of the game. People say some players will always be cheaters. Id rather have these innovative thinkers challenging what we have to make it better than the people who sit back bitching about how people should subjectively police themselves according to the other persons conscience.

If youre looking for someone to blame, its the developers. This issue, as has already been pointed out, was reported in beta, more than 3 months ago. It, along with many others issues, are still present in our game and acknowledged. Yet while they are acknowledged, there is not a clear stand point on what is to be done and when. This is frankly the biggest issue in this game. Gaping holes that go unattended to for weeks / months until a forum riot forces a poorly implemented fix.

Im not saying I could do their job better than them, but Im pretty sure I could make better decisions than were seeing Zenimax developers making. Until theyre willing to step up and address/fix issues in the game, you can complain all you want. It doesnt mean a damn thing at the end of the day.

I am a man of my word. Per the comment I made about them adjusting it, I apologize for using this ability for something it was not intended to be used for. I also apologize to those dk's that used it for other than how we used it, and are now not able to have fun with it.

I would also like to state that ZoS has yet to reply to the above thread as if it was intended or not for the vertical change, or if it is broke due to the exploit for pulling through walls. if ZoS does come back saying they didn't mean to remove the vertical, i'll retract my previous apology.

As one of the people affected, thank you. Right now dragon leap is on the same road of destruction as DK reach. If players can learn from this mistake perhaps that collision can be avoided.

I hope you will examine the epistemic cause of your prior conclusions about DK reach, along with the strict requirements that must be fulfilled before you will alter your belief, otherwise the situation will likely repeat itself.
