I played PVP in every MMO and i am the type of PVPer that enjoys the thrill of killing an enemy by myself. Yes i can go around looking for 1v1s in Cyrodiil but this takes forever and most of the time you run into giant zergs and die and have to run all the way back to your spot to find 1v1s.
Make a small scale PVP option, hell even guild wars 2 had small scale PVP along side their WvWvW. I couldn't give two sh*ts about craglorn to be honest, its nice that we are getting it as it will keep me entertained untill hopefully some news about other PvP options are released. If you aren't going to give us 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 pvp at least give me the ability to request duels or create an arena where people can pop into for duels (if people complain about people sending duel requests as the only complaint about duels). I am sure you could make some kind of instanced Arena where you go into and it puts you into a phase with other player for 1v1 PvP.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF TALOS!

I remember in Lotro there was a designated area in the PvP zone that was reserved for 1v1s. This was solely by community agreement, and was of course subject to griefing but surprisingly little on my server at least. It sounds to me like this would be a good chance for the pvp community to try to work something out like that as an interim solution.

I would like to see the same rewards in ESO. PvP armor and PvE armor completely seperate. Just so we can have reasons to devote our time into each one. Why would i bother getting the PvP Dominion set, when it kind of sucks compared to my crafted sets or PvE stuff? Especially when i have upgraded them to Legendary VR10.

It was only a matter of time people would start asking for this, and that is why most the players that say no do so. Now, you want special rewards for your arenas and pvp, why? That then separates the player base into pve and pvp. Pve players aren't going to want to come help the guild in Cyrodil, because they don't have any pvp gear. On the other side pvp players aren't going to be asked to come do a guild pve raid, because they only have pvp gear.
It was a very selling point for the game that they didn't have separate gear for pvp and pve. So, to add it now would do way more harm than good.
Already said in the Post i do try to find 1v1s and i avoid the big zergs in PVP. but every so often you get destroyed by a roaming zerg heading to another keep. Running back to find more 1v1s knowing you are going to inevitably get zerged is just annoying. If you don't want Zerg PvP, don't follow the zerg. During keep sieges, small scale pvp along the supply lines and reinforcement routes can be the difference between success or failure at the keep. There are also plenty of small groups just doing pve and searching for things in Cyrodil.

Where is the Rankings and scores for team PvP. The Cyrodiil points for Emperor HARDLY counts.

So, because you don't like the leader board in place, it doesn't count? Those are the leader boards, and I see no reason to have more. You can see were you stand with others in your faction, your class, and overall for the campaign. What more do you need?

He wants to feel special while not helping in the war effort at all and for only being able to handle fair fights.
So, why did you buy the game? They never once mentioned they were going to make any type of pvp other than Cyrodil. If you thought there was going to be arenas and warfronts, perhaps you should of done some research.steven_shidiwenb16_ESO wrote: »Draconiuos wrote: »steven_shidiwenb16_ESO wrote: »This game is supposed to be about PvP, but the first big update is about PvE with leaderboards and rankings for time and teams?

If i wanted to play zerg n siege i would play an RTS. I want to play Player vs player, Not Army Vs Army.
Also i NEVER help the war effort, because i couldn't give a sh*t about it. I tend to ignore zergs moving directions and never defend a keep. I run off and find 2v1s or 1v1s. So i can test my character against others.

You all might enjoy piggybacking on the back of your factions army and getting points for doing *** all, and watching a spectacle of hundreds of people zerging. But i do not consider that PVP.

Then here is a thought... the game is not for you. We've known for ages that the game was for mass pvp and no plans for smaller scale pvp were on the table. Basically a core design of the game you want changed because you don't like it. And before you say it, yes small scale pvp would take away from the mass pvp. Typically if I don't like a direction of the game, I don't complain, I just move on, because very rarely do the games actually change to what I want.
