Skull Crusher Needs YOU (AD/EP)

Greetings,

I am a humble soldier of the Daggerfall Covenant and I wish to extend an open invitation to any AD/EP scum to join us in Cyrodil (Skull Crusher Server). Frankly, owning every keep and enjoying the benefits of all 6 scrolls is boring. Very, very boring. So please, I've got a sword and a shield that needs blood on it. See you soon ;)

(Seriously though, get out there and enjoy the fun to be had :) )

That's funny, I also have a sword and shield that is lacking in the blood colored department.

<taunt>But I better come to you, because you know that you can't take Hopesfire.</taunt>

Just trying to stir the pot a little bit. I've only been out there a few times but it stinks that DC out numbers by so much right now :(

I feel you, we (EP) holds Hopesfire and watching that red color all over the map gets to you.
Don't know how many I can lure over with me, but I can at least give you one new body to maim ;)

I'm on EP. I've ventured out a couple times but I'm still too focused on PvE at the moment. Rest assured, I plan on killing you often later on, though.

Skull Crusher is my guest campaign when I can't get to Auriel's bow, since my guild I'm in focuses on Skull Crusher. The Skull Crusher the DG control everything, I play Auriel so I can keep roasting EP and AD with my powers of DESTRUCTION. So others come to Skull Crusher so I can flay your bodies and souls.

    1. Every campaign is still very underpopulated right now. It'll get a lot more balanced once they all fill up.
    2. EP and AD have legitimate complaints about outnumbering the enemy. DC though? Not so much. We've consistently been the lowest pop faction. Look at Auriel's Bow. DC's the only faction that can still get in there. No sense facerolling Skullcrusher when they're outnumbered in all the other nine campaigns.

You want a challenge? Tamriel Foundry just announced that they're going to Bloodthorn. Hop in there and help fight the yellow horde. :)

Well, so much for DC having a decent edge on the Skull Crusher campaign. At no point has our side ever filled up the population limit, yet we were still able to effectively take keeps. Now that the new tactic is to completely swamp the population lock so the underpopulated enemy has no hope of defending their resources, DC is crumbling just like it is in other campaigns.

    Splendid.

I think for release it was a given we'd have a faction take one campaign each for pve leveling. But as more people get up there wanting RvR, it's also a given that holding on to those perks will be harder.

I'm not sure I understand what you meant, but skullcrusher is overwhelming with DC and its so unfair I'm saving to move to another campaign. The inner morale is crap too. A bunch of unorganized ego vs helpful types. Sigh for the AD @ skull crusher

DC hits two bars at the most (almost reached max yesterday with the ridiculous PVP event since people came over as guests to help us) and we're able to take keeps because we coordinate with each other. Usually it's around 30 people moving around and taking stuff. Ebonheart is also starting to learn that the key is coordination and communication. Maybe the real issue at hand is that people need to learn how to work together instead of blaming the Covenant for issues.

Myself and two of my guild just left skullcrusher and we are AD. The unbalance is horrible. So we went to dawnbraker to get pve buffs. Until a consolidation takes place this will continue to happen. Unfortunately it is also no fun getting rolled everyday.

    Time will tell what happens.

If you mean NA Skull Crusher, then I can only say that DC hardly hits 3 bars and full population cap I've seen maybe a couple of times.

What I observed though is that DC side is much better organized in this campaign than in other campaigns. ADs are mostly a bunch of mindless zergers in all campaigns, and they simply win in battles of Zerg vs Zerg due to numbers alone. (elf and cat lovers are numerous, but mostly bad)

I have to give a credit to AD pack of Vampires with VR10 Night Mistress leading them (seriously VR10 10 days after the official release?). They are very annoying, but most of that is caused by how unbalanced the mist form is on vampire skill set if it is in hands of a skilled player. Worry not though, we are already preparing a group of dedicated vampire hunters with skill sets specifically designed to kill vampires, even if they will suck at other things. That requires some leveling time though, so the mass vampires on AD will still be some annoyance for a time.

We proved that we can if not beat, then hold a full cap of AD vs our 2 bars of DC. If only EP would not be pushing hard as well during the Angry Joe's Invasion (12th Apr), we would probably not lose as much as w did, but once the population caps went back to around 2 bars each, we started to gain momentum and eventually caped the whole map back by late night early morning hours.

that AD pack of vampires are from The Noore - you'll be seeing more of us in skull crusher
    - only zerg i usually see running around are the DC, and love it when they get facerolled by numbers much lower than theirs
    - angry joes AD zerg was on over the weekend and when i saw them massed 80+ in the courtyard at faregyl i got goosebumps at the sheer numbers and immediately thought 'we are going to claim this map now' - 5 hours later and all they had accomplished was the taking of roebeck, nikel and ash - we get more done with 20 players in less time - the amount of time that zerg just sat around on their horses just doing nothing was a sad waste in my opinion
    - i think skull crusher is going to develop into a much contested campaign in the weeks to come and will be fun for all sides

I know 2 guilds that have transferred to Skull Crusher on EP side. One of the guilds is rolling now, but my guild has a lot of people still leveling up in PvE before we start making the campaign our primary focus (i'm one of the slow levelers).

Hopefully some more will come over, but last weekend was fun.

Yeah, well usually it happens when there is little to no contest to the map. When there was the AJ invasion there was not a single Zerg rush. We would just outright lose everything with that mentality. ;) and damn you are annoying with that mass vampire strategy. It basically requires to build a dedicated vampire hunters team and level up some skills if not full characters from the scratch...

It was a nice surprise though to see someone else also using mercs when really needed

I would have to agree. Skullcrusher is too DC heavy, Hopesfire is too EP heavy and Dawnbreaker is too AD heavy. Mix these 3 campaigns and you will have a solid fight.

I would suggest getting with the big PvP players on all 3 campaigns and possibly talk about moving to a totally separate campaign. Get all 3 sides a fresh start and that should make for some great PvP action when you are all working on new territory.

Yes, good job on face rolling with 40+ VR half of which are vampires, a half bar DC with full bar EP smacking us as well, also at a time of the week where some of the guilds were simply not active (you know, work and stuff).

It will take a lot of time before we can contest this *** again, because we need to catch up heavily in levels department and then vamp ourselves as well or get some dedicated group with only purpose being fighting vampires. It will take time, it's not something that can be done over a day or two. I admit I was a bit shocked seeing that the previous emperor left, but I guess he had enough of that mass VR vampire BS that went to this campaign (only proving that magicka heavy builds with vampire template are the way to go for PvP)

Solid color maps are fun to take, but boring to have. Great job! I hadn't seen a single AD in the entire campaign, so the yellow map was a big surprise. I've seen plenty of EP groups though, so maybe this will inspire them a bit.

yup - the campaigns with time - will take weeks or months - will 'stratify' as the guilds that find themselves in 'boring' will seek out greater challenges - and eventually you will have the top guilds from each alliance square off against each other in one campaign

@Phoenix99 don't lose heart - we would wake up every morning to see the map turned fully back to blue after hours of fighting the night before just to take a keep or two - DC were to the point where even our safe areas behind our two gates were camped by 20 smurfs in stealth in a semi circle and they would have zero problem all ganking any body who would try and venture out

The Noore at its peak last night had a crew of 28 running - 5 are vampires, most of the 28 are NOT VR, and the impromptu event was an introduction for 7 of our members who not only had never been in cyrodiil before - they had actually never pvp'd before period - was a nice initiation for them

when we started last night the pop bars were 2 blue, 2 red and 1 yellow - as we had more and more success the bars changed to 1 bar for each alliance

we had an epic defence of sejanus where EP smartly attacked both the northern and southern postern doors and with coordination dropped them at the same time - we were too few to venture out to take them on - through strategic positioning of siege equipment and use of cc abilities we held them off, even though at one point we thought all was lost when they breached through and were killing us up on the top level - our pvp 'virgins' proudly held their heads high after that fight

i cannot deny the satisfaction of taking on higher numbers of DC that have no qualms of setting up stealth gank squads around the 'safe' areas now breaking ranks and fleeing for their lives

looking forward to more fun encounters against worthy opponents who don't quit or get upset because for once the map isn't in their favor

    D.

I was one of the "virgins" to PvP in MMO's that was part of that epic defensive stand at Sejanus yesterday evening. Outnumbered probably five to one, with 1/4 in the group being green to this stuff, and myself being a level eighteen newb, I'm damn proud of the leadership and guidance that The Noore showed! What fun! And to think that wasn't even a planned event... And, yes, our max Noore group was small.

I just can't wait to see what happens when we actually schedule a campaign run!! Whenever that may be.
    LOL...

Thanks for the guidance D. !!
