36 person cap + everyone is in the Eyes faction.

I didnt expect to have to be a vet trial pro to be able to do this. I also assumed the recommended group size would be a standard 4 man group, but apparebtly the group finder goes up to 12? We died immediately.
2) no one else is in the zone. Had hoped to soft group with some other groups, but ultimately only saw 3 people
3) way too easy to get separated from the group. Especially with that duneripper. Duneripper is a cool idea. Hate it in practice. If I get eaten and die, I revive on the other side of the may from my group?
4) cant share quests/quest progress. Why are we encouraged to group... but the quests are solo quests? Im just freeing little animals from cages. Its classic eso group quest stuff - but it doesnt work in the group zone.
5)navigating the parch is awful. What are those sand doors? The ones that have a poor render distance so you see a way to the desert, run/sneak/fight your way to it, only to see the sand wall pop in. They also dont really show on the map. Not being able to navigate isnt fun. Apparebtly you can get an item to bypass them but... no idea what or how?
6) boulder dash? What? Couldn't figure this out because everytime I tried i got attacked and turned back and whatever it was was over.

Hmm... After seeing these posts about the difficulty, I'm actually now curious how the difficulty compares to, say, a normal group dungeon (base game, not DLC) or IA cycle-wise.
Wow... people aren't kidding the difficulty level is stupid - haven't died that much in such a short amount of time in forever. Definitely won't be going back in, I'll find it too annoying. I play for fun, not to get angry and frustrated.

Also, why would you ever add quests that require specific locations and activities to something like this? Players can't reliably solo this nightmare and large zerg groups aren't going to reliably deviate from their swarm path to help you complete a daily. It's just... oi vei. Ugh.
Also having respawn location where you have to fight through 3-5 groups just to get back to your group just sucks.

Of course, the new FOMO Golden Pursuit chorelist does not sync up with the FOMO battlepass chorelist in any way, shape, or form. Because why would it? My time is too delicous, apparently. Gobble gobble.

It's nightmarishly challenging. I actually have to use my food buff and potions to even have a chance of making it. I am one of the ones who have been asking for harder overland and this definitely qualifies. At first, I think I had a bit of sticker shock, going from traditional overland to something that reminds me of my first few times trying to run through Veteran Maelstrom Arena.
I'm not sure if it was exactly what I had in mind for harder overland, but then again, I'm still not sure what I wanted for harder overland.
Overall, it's a fun and exhilarating challenge. Thank you ZoS.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyAHjc-wGxI After playing a few hours I have some thoughts.
First I tried soloing, but that was taking forever and I soon realized I can get quests done much faster by just dying, getting to the Oasis, then leaping towards my next objective. I don't know if it's a bug or feature, but you can complete quest objectives while still dead. So that allowed me to solo some quests.

I do not know why but this was that best feedback that I read so far on the topic. 10/10
