Best QOL so far, and QOL you wish for in the future

ZOS has made lots of QOL in ESO, some examples are multible crafing at craft stations, multible refining of raw material, questing freely in your favorite zones after One Tamriel update and much more.

My wish for QOL in the future for new players are: Antiquity dailies to progress scrying and excavation skill lines faster for new players (like mages guild and undaunted dailies etc.) , and make mythic items a bit easier to obtain. It could lower the entry level for end game PVE and PVP. I think it could recruit more of the new players to try end game PVE (Lots of online guides are based on BIS like mythics), and lower the entry level to PVP.

Please comment on my thoughts, and post your favorite QOL so far, and what QOL you want includet in ESO in the future

My favourite QOL by FAR is the stickerbook. Whoever came up with that, I hope, got a big raise!

My wish for a future QOL would be to add PVP options to all events.

Kind of a specific QoL feature, but I'd love the ability to sneak and use assassination abilities (similar to the Blade of Woe) in Werewolf form, so I don't have to drop form in order to complete content like March of Sacrifices, Dark Brotherhood Sacraments, and Thieves Guild Heists. The ability to sneak would also allow me to use sets like Sentry and Spaulder of Ruin.

I'm glad we received the ability to revive allies and use synergies without needing to drop form, but there's a few more things I'd like to be able to do in form as well. I can live without being able to craft, excavate, and fish in Werewolf form — but I wouldn't object to getting those QoL features as well!

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

What I absolutely love so far:
The mount randomiser - it works flawlessly! I use this most of the time.

The sticker book. Curated items are just one of the best things ever.

    Grandmaster crafting stations.

    What I would like:
The randomiser to have the option for per-character favourites so I can customise each one to their preferred mount. For example, my khajiit characters just riding on cats, werewolf on wolves, etc.

A similar randomiser for non-combat pets, again so I can theme my characters - with both overall faves or per-character faves. I love spending time getting their themes 'just so'!

PVP options added to all events in a similar way as endeavours are done. That way there's something for everyone in every event. Currently PvP gets short thrift with events.

A toggle for combat pets - a simple toggle off or on for getting them out of sight, especially in busy areas, banks, crafting areas, shops, etc. Please just let me switch off the things. In combat too would be nice, so my view isn't obstructed by endless flapping wings when I'm trying to heal my teammates!

Ability to add hats, change hair, make-up, etc on companions. This would reduce the 'attack of the clones' thing they currently have going on.

More switch-off options for the outfit system: chests, gloves, belt, etc. Also, enough with adding hip flaps onto nearly everything please. Too often they are too big, or they float miles off the body and just spoil an otherwise clean look. Some of them would definitely be in the way when someone is swinging a weapon - they'd be catching them with their arms all the time!

Lastly: a Ragdoll cat mount to go with my Ragdoll cat pet! ;)

Best QoL improvements for me so far have been:

    1. Sticker book alongside transmute station.
    2. Master Crafting Stations.
    3. World Wide Achievements (yes I like these).
    4. Auto opening, looting and deleting of hireling emails.
    5. Anytime they ever make items stackable.

What I would like to see is:

    1. A furnishing bag, but that will likely never happen.
    2. A /unstuck command that lets you get out of being stuck while still remaining within the same instance.
    3. A fix for the stuck in combat bug.
    4. Surveys that don't require you to run away and come back again before refreshing.
    5. Get rid of the sorc flappy pet. Just make it stop flapping and make it demonstrably smaller.
    6. Get rid of the arcanist class's blinding laser beam. :p
    7. Get rid of grim focus perma-glow.

    Best QoL improvement so far:

Like others have said, the stickerbook & master crafting stations have both been significant QoL improvements.

    Future QoL improvements:

    Remove the cap on transmutes
Make every inventory item that can stack, stack to - at minimum - 1,000
Raise the furnishing cap on houses

Best QoL have been Armory + Stickerbook - greatly improved the game on consoles.

I would have a long wishlist for QoL but I'll limit myself here to:
VERTICAL CAMERA SLIDERS ON CONSOLE, since many players are asking for it from years now, and PC always had it...
More customization for Companions - I'd like to equip my Isobel houseguest with a nice costume instead of the ugly one she's wearing... Also things such as hairstyles, markings, adornments...
Companions being able to carry infinite companion gear; would help a lot with my bank issue, (edit: ...) as well as if, please, the Armory could store all Builds' gear!

These 3(4*) would highly improve my enjoyment of the game.

Obviously personal opinion. Best: Time of day control in housing instance.

There have actually been quite a few very nice QOL features added - I usually just take them for granted. The sticker book is something I use. And so on.

Would like to see: More of EHT slowly and painfully with lots of extra hype ported over to the base game.

And of course more furniture slots in all housing instances, or at the least, the ability to convert collectible to traditional (same total limit).

Lots of nice QOL over the years.

Some to add not mentioned yet. Let us pick which buff and debuff we get to see and track. On console the current system is somewhat of a nightmare.

In the same vein it would be nice if we could see both bars and timers better then the current base game option. When you watch videos of game play no one uses the base game system for ability bars on PC it seems.

Mini map for console, it's been 10 years almost already for us. Plus, fix the zoom on the new console please.

Let us add master Roles to our homes please. Since we can only have one of each kind of writ active at once. On console we have to keep jumping in and out of our homes and go thru needless loading screens.

Also be nice if when we craft something we could choose the improvement and not have to go thru improving an item several times to get what is needed or wanted. Really hoping this would be added to the master crafting tables but alas it wasn't.

    Stay safe 🙂

SO many great things have been added to this game! Companions, sticker books, stacking siege, ONE repair kit for Cyro, beautiful mounts, the endeavor seals, multiple deconstuction, all the gear sets alone. No MMO has added the amount of new areas and actual content, like dungeons and trials. Not to mention housing! Even small things like the music boxes have been really nice. Too much since 2014 has been added to even begin to express thanks for.

They are coming out with a new form of PVP, I understand which will be 8v8. Can't wait to see this and hope it goes over well and more will follow, based on that model. THIS is my most wished for QOL, but it goes beyond QOL. Thanks.

There have been some decent QoL improvements, but there have also been some bad ones.

My favourites so far are both the ability to port to outside your home, and the ability to move your character order on the character selection screen.

The worst for me by a country mile is undoubtedly AwA, a classic example of how one person's QoL improvement can be another person's game-breaker. That kind of change should only ever take full account of player feedback on the PTS and, wherever practical, be optional.

That's why my heart always sinks when I hear they're introducing more "QoL improvements", as I fear what they're going to mess up next.

Old school QoL favourite was when the horse training became character-bound instead of mount-bound, so you no longer had to visit a stablemaster to switch your fast horse for your inventory-expanding horse.

A QoL I'd love is an NPC trader or assistant that would exchange survey maps for mats, and mats for mats of different levels. Maybe then we could stop getting the useless low level mats for daily writs, or at least we could exchange them for mats actually useful.

100% agree. How AwA was implemented was awful and has made the game experience so much worse for me.

My favorite one was stickerbook! No contest.

The thing I want the most for QoL is some more centralized bank space. Not housing chests, not individual inventory (although I'd take that too) but the bank which is how I pass items between characters. Or something that would significantly improve my centralized bank inventory situation, like a survey bag so surveys don't take up space in your inventory.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

    QoL - fix the servers.

No more content for a year. Just straight up pure server performance and bug fixes. Put calculations back on the client side now that stadia is gone, fix the dsyncs that have been in cyro for over 7 years, fix the lag and constant crashes.

That is what I want - problem is that isn't pretty and doesn't bring in revenue (directly anyways) so the top top mgmt will shoot it down.

As far as best QoL, I think it's a toss-up between the stickerbook collection system (paired with the Transmutation system) and the Grand Master crafting stations. I think the stickerbook probably wins in terms of general utility, but I do not miss the acres upon acres of crafting stations needed to set up a Master Writ crafting area.

One item that's pretty high on my QoL wishlist is a "shuffle" feature for the music while you're logging in, selecting characters, and waiting on the loading screens. It's a very minor aesthetic thing, but a bit of audio variation would be good. I'm not so picky on the backgrounds for character selection, but being able to shuffle through those, too, would be nice.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Many good things have been added to this game!
Porting to outside of our houses
Mythics like Oakensoul and some easier to play builds that allow folks that are not experts at LA weaving to complete at least some of the more difficult PvE content.
Changing character order on the login screen
    Sticker book
    Multiple deconstruction
Auto move to inventory and delete emails (trader sales, hireling)
Ability to set filters at crafting stations when doing crafting writs, really helps when doing daily crafting writs on console

    Wishlist
Better zoom on map for PS5. It's bad enough the game won't show me where the items are that folks on PC see with Map Pins or Lore Book add-ons, but then I cannot zoom in far enough on the PS5 game map to set a pointer to the location that I see on the phone or tablet that I have running next to my console.

I agree with these three, and I also want mount customization. Not really QoL, but I would consider my quality of ESO life to be better if I could dye the mount's tack to match my current look, or to match what I think would be prettier on the mount in question.

Also, more cat options, I want black and white cats (not tuxedos).

Anything that made bouncing between different set-ups easier has massively improved my enjoyment of and time spent in the game. So the Armory system and the Stickerbook are the two primary ones that come to mind. These additions alone are enough for me to never want an ESO Classic. I love that I can just play a healer in my group if one of our healers is still in queue, and then switch to DD the moment they arrive.

Something I'd like to see in the future is more options to combat the grind. Curated drops and Transmutations were already huge steps, but I'd like to have more options to just straight-up buy gear if I've done the associated content a number of times. IA was already a step in the right direction, but I think its curated drops are way too expensive for it to relieve the fatigue of grinding in any significant way. Something like the way Undaunted monster coffers work these days would be a good model.

    I would really like :

    1. Story mode dungeons and maybe trials for smooth story experience.
    2. Account wide skyshard unlocked when completed for the first time, stop with the cash shop nonsense.
    3. Account wide crafting research or research timer reduction by 50% and ability to research every slot together once Grandmaster Crafter achievement unlocked.
    4. Removal of bites from cash shop and make them available from encounters in every map in the game, we could hear npcs talk about some creepy stuff happening in an area and once we go there are night a vampire or werewolf would attack us and give us the virus.
    5. Allow us to directly respec from the skill and attribute menu. Make the cost of skill respec based on how many skill points have been handled.
    6. Account wide armory unlock when the 1500 crown armory slot item purchased from cash shop. An alternative 250 crown character unlock can be added to cash shop.
    7. Any system that alters the gameplay experience significantly, for example, Jewelrycrafting, Antiquities, Scribing, should be added to base game.

I have more but I don't think any of the above will ever happen. So... yeah...
