Would there be any benefit to posting which ESO gameserver IP we're connected to along with account name? What details does the networking team want from us? i.e. date/time/content/serverip/accountname ?

Nothing on my end has changed, wish i could share the wealth lol. obviously not everyone is resolved, so the issue is ongoing, but something somewhere changed, because its night and day the difference between what I experienced yesterday and today vs. anytime in the last 4 months.
Were you on a vpn?

For those that are having issues... and I guess for those who aren't... without getting to specific (and if you're comfortable) could you give a general region on where you are playing. This info might help the network teams as well.
TN here. When I put my VPN on Kansas last night with DNS set to google it got slightly better (I was crashing a lot right before that).
In the past I've tried VPN connections in the following areas with no luck:
- Texas
- Miami
- NYC
- Seattle
- Canada (worked the best out of all of these)
- Denver

I live in Texas, a rocks throw from the data center that houses the servers for the game. My latency is 2-3ms until I hit their two hops to Akami in DFW. Tried VPN no difference for me. I will say we host game servers for other games my hubbs plays in the data center and I can get a steady 2-3ms without fail, and so can my hubbs. Something is very wanky with this game and it starts with Akami. Are they all of the problem, no they are not but something is causing huge lag spikes constantly while I am in the game. No reason I should be seeing this considering where I am located.

I've had issues on an entire new pc (hardware) with Windows 11 fresh install and fresh install of ESO with no add ons and 2 different ISPs (yes I thought my ISP was the issue and dumped them and went with starlink) - FWIW.

thanks,

Hi all, brief update here. Didn't get info back until late yesterday, so apologies for the delay in update here. We have increased the number of engineers investigating this and working with our networking team to go back over past server data to see if there are major discrepancies we can identify. We are still submitting your feedback to the team to make sure they have the latest info when continuing their investigation.

Why do I get the feeling we have two engineers working on this now?

At least we have some? Take it as a win, no?
