We cant request refunds but we can stop supporting them. we already know gold road and scribing is gonna be a hot mess, be it bugs, performance, or just how much it breaks every aspect of the game. itll be a year before it starts to feel balanced, after it sells tons of copies for the newest shiny. I personally cancelled my sub a couple weeks back when they first kept their mouths shut regarding the fact that many players literally couldnt play without lagging out. no point in paying for a game you cant play. Havent bought gold road. Cant justify supporting this company in its current state.

I did bite the bullet and pre-ordered Gold Road on PC and PS5. I somewhat lament that now, especially given the lack of responsiveness.
I also am once again disliking those here who will oppose any request for true quality of life improvements. Making things simpler and "funner" seems to get many down.

Simple?! FUN?! When I was your age, I had to walk to cyrodiil uphill BOTH WAYS, IN THE SNOW despite being AD in the south! I had to struggle and be miserable about aspects of the game, and so must you!

Remember how Firor was bragging about how ESO is a huge financial success? Yeah, I don't see that much of that money going back into the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm not naive, I know how businesses work, but still.. it's bad.Photosniper89 wrote: »Whatever is happening tonight (this past 3 weeks tbh) is absolutely unacceptable for a company of this size with this many resources and departments - especially when you just have a lead go on and brag about how flawless their dlc has been and how their game is 10 games in one.
@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert What the hell is going on here?! Paging the communication department.

I returned to Northern Elsweyr for the first time in three years with an alt this week and was reminded of why I never liked that zone. That zone in particular has massive spikes. No other zone does this. Every other zone I'm at a comfortable 70-80 ping. Going to Northern Elsweyr I spike to 300-400 ping. It was that way in 2018. It's the same now. PC-EU. Not even Cyro is like that for me.
There can be absolutely NOTHING going on at the place I'm at. Just chilling and fishing, not other players running around, no attack effects etc, and spikes at 400. What gives?

I often do dungeons as well and haven't had any issues with those, although it's probably a week or so since I did one. I agree it could be a network issue, or if it's since a patch maybe some addons haven't been updated? I don't use any so I can't tell.
Appreciate your feedback but 1000% this is not add on related.

Hey! I am telling my grandchildren to get off the lawn all the time!
I did also see Pong in a department store when it first came out! (Not sarcasm, but that was the "start" of modern home gaming.)

where did we get a "we are aware"? Im generally curious because tonight has been so bad for me and im trying to figure out if they are even aware of it. I mean if they are looking at the forums theres not way they arent aware, so i guess im wondering if they have acknowledged it yet.
But ya its a strange issue, like i played all day on my arc just fine. Swap to my dk and immediately my ping is fluctuating and i have like a 2 sec cast time on skills. Then i crash, twice. But again, all day on my arc and things were fine. Maybe coincidence but it seems odd. And tonight is deff not the first night.
Photosniper89 wrote: »Was hoping that the extended maintenance would fix the issues....
nope.
So what's the deal with the severely deteriorated performance since the maintenance? I crashed just trying to log into the game, then when I got into Gray Host it's like a slide show. People in the zone are saying it's terrible as well, so it's not just me. And I can stream baseball games, watch YouTube, play other games just fine. So it's definitely just an ESO thing.
What did you guys do to the game during maintenance? Never seen it this bad.
