Well, I looked up videos on improving Ping on ESO and free software called TCP Optimizer was recommended. I got it, clicked Optimal, hit apply, and restarted my PC. Stable ping so far, even a bit better than usual. Will comment if anything changes. Of course, it is risky to just download random software but this one had 10 million downloads, apparently.

Right now. Pc next to me has server lag and super speed-up. My pc, fine.

Ever since the big crash I've had freezes in trials.

Horrible lag in trials last night. Four of us were kicked out in one trial (Sanity's Edge) alone, also lag spikes all over the place. It's definitely something game server related because multiple players were experiencing lag spikes in game at the same time.

I've done this in the past and didn't do anytyhing for me. Hope it fixes your issue though!!!

Yeah all good so far. Seems to have fixed it, for me.

feels like servers are in terrible shape this week on PCNA

i come back tonight for my once a week raid, to be greeted with disconnects, and everything freezing and unfreezing/rubberbanding even though ping and framerate looked good. sorta not looking forward to starting new prog in new year if we took several steps backwards in server performance. it was good for awhile. but tonight logging in, it was just bad.

Every so often I think “maybe I’ll reinstall ESO.” Then I watch videos like that and enjoy all the extra space on my SSD.

Trying to roll a few new characters and spending time in Auridon right now. Yesterday I had one rollback at the Calambar Dolmen. There were only three of us there so it wasn't the usual 20+ peeps. It happened after the dolmen was finished and I was moving to the Mathisen Wayshrine. I also had a 999+ lag out trying to clear the dolmen. Froze for 3-4 seconds. Sure Skywatch is near and one could say too many players but this late in the event there are very few throwing mudballs around 2PM CST.

Its been almost 8 months already since these issues began in April.

They are happening outside of Cyrodill in situations where there isn't a lot of player to player activity involved such as finishing writs or doing infinite archives. Sometimes this happens while just standing still doing nothing.

I noticed a lot of rollbacks last night, mostly in Cryo. But it did happen in other zones as well. About 1:30 a.m PST, PSNA.

This is getting ridiculous. Why am I having several-second freezes in IA arc 2? It's just me and Zerith-var in there! Not to mention how difficult it's making PvP. Are all the silly glowy effects really worth this?

This is exactly what I am talking about and something that has happened to me as well. It's worse on holidays and weekends.

Have the day off, finally decided to suffer through ToT to get some rewards I've been wanting. 20 minutes into Game 1 booted to desktop - can't connect to game server. Restart, new game. 15 minutes into Game 2 booted to desktop - can't connect to game server. Bad enough ToT is a total time suck but having to start over multiple times is icing on the cake. Bah.

Yeah, it amuses me too how we keep getting these random disconnects in the card game. I haven’t played it since April because of that—it’s just a waste of time. A couple of times, I went back, got disconnected, and immediately remembered why I don’t play it anymore.

Adding that I've seen a lot of lag spikes in bgs lately. I've taken to playing my two viable lag builds when I do play just so that I don't die to not being able to break free or a sudden freeze then catch up moment. Sucks to not be able to reliably play my other builds that require more precise timing.

Welcome to the club! I'm scared to think how many pore ISP techs are havign to handle tickets related to this issue - when it's actually got nothing to do with peoples ISPs.

Anyone else seeing a delay in the elder scrolls navigation overlay loading when the pull up the forums? I remember it was missing completely for a while at the time of the big outage. For me, it's lagged behind the forum content by a couple of seconds the last few days.

5 mins ago. Only person I can see in sunhold, summerset. Yet I'm lagging trying to fight 3 normal monsters. Can't catch a break. says I have stable fps and stable ping. Does nothing then super speed catch up or the mob is stuck and I am stuck, but can be chased by other mobs. 5s later it dies and I can continue.
