Not related to steam. Both my friend and me are using zos launcher and had the same problem. Already back in game tho.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭I've been getting into the game ok, but whether I play PC NA or PC EU (from the UK), I get multiple errors relating to the launcher self-updater. Closing them all enables me to play. This is not through Steam.Edited by Tandor on 15 June 2023 22:010 -
Its not just EU, its PC NA as well. In fact its so bad, the client desync causes Shadow Play to stutter on the Steam client regardless of addons being turned on or off. Does not happen with addons or without addons when opened through executable in folder, or standalone client.
Seems like however the Steam client is communicating with the servers is compounding the problem. .0 -

At least UTC rates a mention, non-EU/NA time zones don't even rate a mention. It's not that hard to convert UTC to your local time zone, really.

They didn't actually use UTC this time (not in the announcement post, they do in the banner though). They used EDT and CEST. They keep saying they'll use UTC, because yeah, it's easy to convert, but you know what ZOS is like. They'll say a lot about how they can improve their communication, but never actually come through with it. UTC has about a 30% success rate in them remembering it exists.2 -

I mean yes I know the EU servers are down but I just have to say this, Linux users actually for the update a day prior and no issues 110-114k Stage 4 Vamprie Magblade u39
