Question like example above would be optional but often game forces you to be stupid to push quest. Most player dialogue options are simply bad (intimidate and persuade are often great tho and introduce a little more character to your char)
Those in my opinion are the two most valuable passives in the game! they cut short long winded missions or can stop a mission progressing dead if you don't have them.0 -

✭I agree with everyone who's said Lady Laurent, I can't stand her. It's not even 'love to hate', I get no joy out of any encounter and just want her to treat Stibbons better.
For one that hasn't been mentioned yet - Jakarn. I'm not really sure what I was supposed to like about a guy who lies to people repeatedly to use them. Ratinira✭✭✭✭Khamira. Don't understand why my imperials must help her. Took me 2 month to force myself to finish Elsweyr with one character, and looks like it is also the last character that have done that quest line.
Queen Ayrenn. She is too... excessive. So good, so progressive... So indifferent to her nation. Run away to have fun, returned back to clame throne, spit on traditions and culture, start a war... She doesnt know how to rule at all. She does all she can to *** off her people and wondering why they are angry. Alliance with some "low races", war, job losses, opening borders... It like a list of "what shouldn't be done". Though the game is convincing that all that is "good". And all who dislike are just narrowminded... stupid people.
The two characters above (and there are others) ... Whith them I have the feeling that the game is trying to force me to like them. It is poking them in my face "look how great they are! You must like them! They are ideal! Like them!". It makes me feel nauseated when I see them
And all NPC that are running around and shouting. Stuga, from FG, about dragons, about Alexandra Conele greatly miss an addon to shut them up...

✭Stuga of course. But also most despised, is the bard outside of the Flaming Nix in Mournhold. Athanas Samori has annoyed me for years with is horrible howling. He is the reason I have asked that we have the ability to shut bards up. I have always wanted to be able to bash them once to send them running away. I don't care if I get a bounty. The Mute NPC addon for PC is my favorite mod by a mile.
I was playing on PS4 back at launch and I guess I just snapped one day when I went to Vulkhel Guard too many times. I quit and didn't come back for five years - after I couldn't remember why I quit. Stuga reminded me in the first hour. I would have turned right around back to GW2 or FFXIV if it wasn't for Harven. o7

To you Francis, @Hippie4927 & anyone else for that matter, if you have not seen it, then I would recommend that you watch a few episodes of the British sit-com, "To the Manor Born."
Lady Laurent reminds me so much of Lady Audrey fforbes-Hamilton (played by Penelope Keith) and Brabinger her put upon yet devoted butler. Keith was made for the part, so I just imagine her speaking Laurent's lines. Then it all makes sense.

At every turn, he was completely played by Reezal-Jul. Why does Emeric think so highly of him again?
At,the Doomcrag, he fails to predict an obvious trap my Vestige saw coming a mile away (curse you, limited dialogue options!) and then makes the "noble sacrifice" to save everyone that somehow ends up handing a powerful artifact over to Molag Bal. Hmm...

As a player, I'd have been more okay with it if it it weren't obvious that writers loved Verandis and wanted us to love him too. I didn't. I thought he was a blatant Gary Stu who everyone in Rivenspire gave a free pass despite obvious problems with his actions.

Sheridan✭✭✭✭Amelie Crowe. I am not a murderer or assassin and woud never join Dark Brotherhood with any of my characters in any of the Elder Scrolls games. And she waits for me in every Outlaw refuge with her "psssst". I wish there was an option to get rid of her, declining the quest once and for all, or even an optional quest line to destroy the Brotherhood, like in Skyrim.2 -

Rigurt might be a dumdum, but he always means well. He gives nice presents to other NPCs, he wants to make peace between the alliances, he seeks out the best aspects of the places he visits, and most of all he really likes his job and is 110% enthusiastic about it.
