Why go melee gank while ranged gank is in the times of 30+ Zergs so much safer and effective ?

    I guess we're are on different paths on what animation is i consider a animation to be the visual part of the wind up hence saying I'm using this ability which is really easy to counter by the way but if you can make the wind up disappear all together I'm pretty sure I just canceled the animation for that particular ability hence being called animation canceling. Right or wrong

    Was I really not clear in my last several posts? I repeatedly said that you can not bypass the cast time of the ability through any type of animation cancelling and still receive the damage - especially not in a way that would allow you to fire 6 abilities with a 1s cast time within 1s.

    I'm not sure how else to say it. Maybe this will work: Does your Dizzying Swing still have a cast time? Do you still have to wait 1s for it to channel before it hits? Are you able to dizzying swing 6 times in a second?

    The fact that you´re unaware of all casted skills having a bug where the skill animations and sounds disappear when fired from stealth or animationcanceled properly baffles me.
    Also snipe has healthdesynct players since way before the game even came out on consolse (and still does).

    What you´re describing as lag on the receiving end is exactly the bug. There is no lag. The casted skill from stealth is exactly what´s causing this behavior.

    You can't animation cancel snipe, or any other channeled/cast time skill. You can animation cancel the trailing animation at best. Also since the change that came recently (with DB I think?) to animation cancelling, all sounds for skills now play even if block cancelled or swap cancelled. They also jacked up animation cancelling so people get stuck in heavy attacks and other bugs... but that's a different discussion.

    Also they nerfed stealth AGES ago - going on a year at this point. You can hear people buffing and using skills/attacks from stealth now. Not only that, but from the same range you can hear a player who's not stealthed. Because of this, I now PVP with headphones and my effects volume jacked up. You can hear a ganker casting radiant magelight from roughly 25m away. You can hear a heavy bow attack being released with roughly 1/2 a second of lead time before it lands. It was a ninja nerf, no patch notes to my knowledge. I learned it when I went to gank one of my buddies while we were in TS together and he said "I heard you casting magelight" when I asked him why he blocked.

So it must,be possible.by exploiting some glitch. I now that Lethal arrows can be heard, when fired from stealth just thought it was just a nother bug in the game XD

    What you're describing is a lag spike, not animation canceling. You can't animation cancel a cast time or channeled ability, and even instant abilities are limited to a 1 second "GCD" - regardless of the fact that there isn't supposed to be a GCD, it's there and prevents more than a single light/ability/bash within a 1 second window.

    I actually figured out how to animation cancel dizzying swing part of my ninja handbook

    You can weave it with heavy attacks, but not cancel the animation during the windup at all (and still get damage out of it).

    Guys, i know it sounds crazy, but ive seen it on several occasions so it definetly cant be a lag spike. i saw a Emperor with 50k health getting instakilled after swallowing 5 lethal arrows in 1 sek and my buddy a 70k hp, 40k resistance tank get onebanged and he had 7 lethal arrows in death recap(all from the same person). hell even myself even though getting instanuked isnt a new thing as a stamblade lol. i basically stood there since i was certain i could swallow at least 1 hit cause his previous attempts were weak as ***. then suddenly dead. in death recap: lethal arrow, lethal arrow, lethal arrow. Somehow 3 lethal arrows without him doing any animation and without me seeing the arrows fly towardcs me whitch i usually do. Accept it or noot somehow there is a way to remove the animation altogeather. Just havent figured out how he did it.

    Seriously though, what is it about it happening more than once that makes it impossible for it to be lag? Lag isn't a one-time thing, especially not in Elder Scrolls Online.

    The fact that you´re unaware of all casted skills having a bug where the skill animations and sounds disappear when fired from stealth or animationcanceled properly baffles me.
    Also snipe has healthdesynct players since way before the game even came out on consolse (and still does).

    What you´re describing as lag on the receiving end is exactly the bug. There is no lag. The casted skill from stealth is exactly what´s causing this behavior.

Also since the change that came recently (with DB I think?) to animation cancelling, all sounds for skills now play even if block cancelled or swap cancelled. They also jacked up animation cancelling so people get stuck in heavy attacks and other bugs... but that's a different discussion.

If you can show us an example of you instantly casting dizzying swing without having to wait the 1s cast time, and especially you doing it 6 times in 1 second, then you can tell us that you are cancelling it and getting full damage.

    Sorry man but you are not truly canceling the animation if WB in that vid. Its not even an opinion. You are objectively not.

    That snipe thing your talking about is a bug people abuse with emotes. You can glitch your emotes (similar to how people walk around or ride there mounts while doing emotes) but glitch it so you can cast abilitys and still maintain your emote (such as dancing or laydown).

    So basically theres someone standing somewhere out in the open doing an emote while sniping your friend and he wont notice unless he see's his hp dropping or dies since the shots are invisible.

    B) he usually goes up against groups of maximal 10 players which in my case usually involves groups 3,,4 times that size, in that case good luck charging in with ambush expected Survival Duration 3 seconds lol.
    Now sribes is a excellent ganker... But he isnt faced with the massive groups on Xbox eu.
    For example im one video there were 8 enemies on scroll. 8????
    On my server there probably would be 2 scrolls Bering stolen at once with about 50-60 players escorting it. Try ganking that scrollcsrrier with a melee build, good luck to whoever who attempts it. And no I refuse to wear proc sets which do all the damage for me.

    Its different setups for different situations. And nothing beats a bow while defending a Castle. So unless you can tell.me a strategy how to kill people inside a 24+ Zerg while defending a Castle, without using a broken Ulti(incapacitating strike) or a broken armor set like viper, widowmaker or Velindreth we have nothing to,say to each other.

    50%? The majority of their damage is coming from heavy attacks and incap strike. Viper and the occasional Velidreth do add to the killing power though.

    That snipe thing your talking about is a bug people abuse with emotes. You can glitch your emotes (similar to how people walk around or ride there mounts while doing emotes) but glitch it so you can cast abilitys and still maintain your emote (such as dancing or laydown).

    So basically theres someone standing somewhere out in the open doing an emote while sniping your friend and he wont notice unless he see's his hp dropping or dies since the shots are invisible.

    Ganking on xbox eu is really easy... you are just a snipestacker who stands in the wall pressing 1 button. You just arent very good at the game which is clearly showing in the video. Not everyone can be good..

    Also flawless conqueror or pvp rank isnt an indication of how skilled a player is. The highest ranked pvp player on xbox eu is one of the worst players but zerging, aoe spamming and using rapid manouvers on every class to quickly ride to the defensive ticks help a lot in getting that high rank.

    Sorry man but you are not truly canceling the animation if WB in that vid. Its not even an opinion. You are objectively not.

    In my opinion its animation canceling (which I do and love) if two separate attacks make contact simultaneously that normally require two separate, full animations to land. If you're only seeing the animation/wind up for the heavy attack and not the wrecking blow, and both hit together, I'd consider the WB animation cancelled... Just like if you fire off a bash with an executioner to have both hit instantly with only the immediate bash/block animation, the only difference being that the previous example has a 1s wind up for both skills to make contact.

    Could be wrong but that's how I see it, having studied the concept for a couple years, lol :P

    I did get a very prominent red currently under the top 10 on the leaderboards XD(, No I don't stack snipes thats a red ex emps speciality lol, ) Maby im not good, i don't judge myself I sure get many kills hat way so im cool. Jup its easy, The person who did the most hard solo dungeon without dying=> very good reaction times(aka movement)=> knows his business, probably very well equipped. Well always when i see him fight he does pretty well so I won't judge that. There is always 2 sides of a situation....

    It startet as i watched 4 red gankers charge into a big yellow zerg (velindreth flying around)as we were sieging. Got insta killed of course.
    It got me to wonder why they didn't pick us off with a bow instead of charging a 50+ zerg melee style.
    As a demonstration I uploaded the clip.

    And to go to the skill issue= to tell the truth i havent seen a truly skilled person since 1 year when i started the game on Na server. How do you define skill in a game where 90% of the victories depend on cp, equipment, and rng ??? Right now basically weather you will that 1v1 depends on if your equipment is better then his, you have more cp and who's proc sets go off first or who's hits crit the most, and who has the better skill setup on his bars.
    At the end of the day were all here to have fun and relax from RL.
    So if you have a build , its able to get lucky and killing someone and you play it => cool , (even though some setups are just dirty but fair play for coming up with that setup).
