Why go melee gank while ranged gank is in the times of 30+ Zergs so much safer and effective ?

    Personally I love killing people with an arrow from the top of a keep.

    Just like i “appreciate “ every stam build running around with the Same boring setup XD. Oh i know not everyone will “appreciate “ it( usually the people on the receiving end XD)
    But if you don't , just don't bother commenting. I would like to know that dudes setup thou, probably stam dk or sorc, black rose, vipers sting and temorscale XD

    People were giving you advices about how to improve ur build and why what u are doing now doesnt require skill and doesnt show anything that makes you a good player. You responded with lies and making stuff out of ur head to prove ur point. Examples: You said u know what AC is when in fact u have no idea what it is and how to do it and u even said that AC is cheating. People telling you to use agony. You basically ignored everyone by saying im not using magicka abilities on a stam build instead of actually talking about it. Which proves again that u have no idea about what u are talking about cause agony isnt a skill to do dmg but a utility/cc ability that a lot of gankers use.

    Thank you for making assumptions about what we play. Im sure this will help you to prove that u are a good player. You can continue by insulting us now if u feel like its going to make it better.

    When u post a video of ur build in the forums dont expect people to appreciate it just because u like it. You post it in the forums then be prepared for people to judge it. If you dont like people judging ur build then u are the one who shouldnt comment not us.

    And thank you for removing the videos of ur build in action. You just proved everyone here right once again.

    Its lag, or latency issues, which has nothing to do with AC. There is so much fail in this thread. But at the end of the day, OP is entitled to play how he likes, but shouldn't post gameplay vids on the forums because I dont think many people would be interested in this "playstyle". To most people, this isn't even pvp. Its more akin to camping in an fps in your own base with a sniper rifle lol.

    It's awful, it's what a lot of people would do when they first pick up the game. You certainly don't boast about this style of play. The OP maybe one day will realise just how noob this style is. Honestly, it's nothing short of embarrassing.

    y. just a NB running in groups of 20 people on top of keeps spamming snipes on random people that are already fighting and calling it ganking. Obviously after all the backlash he got he removed the video

    The fact that you´re unaware of all casted skills having a bug where the skill animations and sounds disappear when fired from stealth or animationcanceled properly baffles me.
    Also snipe has healthdesynct players since way before the game even came out on consolse (and still does).

    What you´re describing as lag on the receiving end is exactly the bug. There is no lag. The casted skill from stealth is exactly what´s causing this behavior.

    You can't animation cancel snipe, or any other channeled/cast time skill. You can animation cancel the trailing animation at best. Also since the change that came recently (with DB I think?) to animation cancelling, all sounds for skills now play even if block cancelled or swap cancelled. They also jacked up animation cancelling so people get stuck in heavy attacks and other bugs... but that's a different discussion.

    Also they nerfed stealth AGES ago - going on a year at this point. You can hear people buffing and using skills/attacks from stealth now. Not only that, but from the same range you can hear a player who's not stealthed. Because of this, I now PVP with headphones and my effects volume jacked up. You can hear a ganker casting radiant magelight from roughly 25m away. You can hear a heavy bow attack being released with roughly 1/2 a second of lead time before it lands. It was a ninja nerf, no patch notes to my knowledge. I learned it when I went to gank one of my buddies while we were in TS together and he said "I heard you casting magelight" when I asked him why he blocked.

So it must,be possible.by exploiting some glitch. I now that Lethal arrows can be heard, when fired from stealth just thought it was just a nother bug in the game XD

    What you're describing is a lag spike, not animation canceling. You can't animation cancel a cast time or channeled ability, and even instant abilities are limited to a 1 second "GCD" - regardless of the fact that there isn't supposed to be a GCD, it's there and prevents more than a single light/ability/bash within a 1 second window.

    And in the age of everyone running around in 50+ Greg's the easiest way of getting ap .
    And i have so much fun with this setup.
    And to be honest I personally think there isn't any different between a tremorscale tank spamming puncture and my setup . Noob? Maby... Effective Yes, and i always look at the results XD

    Very good thats sorted then
    In pvp there are 4 setups atm
    The melee proc set runner
    The archer
    The magica ranged setup
    The support setup

    And each of the setups despises the other setup thats the rule. I personally think it spices things up a bit in PvP
    And the moment you give me a stamina setup where I can kill 5-6 people in a 30+ zerg tightly bunched up without instanty getting killed ill stop sniping deal??? XD

    I actually figured out how to animation cancel dizzying swing part of my ninja handbook

    You can weave it with heavy attacks, but not cancel the animation during the windup at all (and still get damage out of it).

    What you're describing is a lag spike, not animation canceling. You can't animation cancel a cast time or channeled ability, and even instant abilities are limited to a 1 second "GCD" - regardless of the fact that there isn't supposed to be a GCD, it's there and prevents more than a single light/ability/bash within a 1 second window.

    I actually figured out how to animation cancel dizzying swing part of my ninja handbook

    You can weave it with heavy attacks, but not cancel the animation during the windup at all (and still get damage out of it).

    In pvp there are 4 setups atm
    The melee proc set runner
    The archer
    The magica ranged setup
    The support setup

    And each of the setups despises the other setup thats the rule. I personally think it spices things up a bit in PvP
    And the moment you give me a stamina setup where I can kill 5-6 people in a 30+ zerg tightly bunched up without instanty getting killed ill stop sniping deal??? XD

    No there are not 4 setups in PVP. There are a lot more. And no one despises other setups (unless its procs). What they do despise is how people play them. This is what u fail to understand even tho its common sense. And if u are asking me how to kill people while u are running in groups of 20 people then i dont know what to say. Maybe play with ur group u know? Like everyone else does. And besides in most cases u were not attacking people in zergs. If u dont want to play with them but u are so obessed with killing zergs roll a bomblade. They live for zergs that are stacked up. So what are u even talking about anw?

    I honestly don't know why nb go melee(caugh faith viper, velindteth, widow maker) gank while you can gank people easier with a bow AND have more time to run from angry comrades who want to avenge their buddies. Also if well positioned while defending in most cases you can gank over and over again from the same position without them having a clue where you are....
    Also it offers more utility(i Love when People think im helpless at Close Range and get XD
    The only Thing which is more difficult is the Positioning and Timing

    Otherwise super easy....
    I mean Why endanger yourself by going Close Range if One can kill him 40+ Meters Away???
    Its just Common Sense :)

    The fact that you´re unaware of all casted skills having a bug where the skill animations and sounds disappear when fired from stealth or animationcanceled properly baffles me.
    Also snipe has healthdesynct players since way before the game even came out on consolse (and still does).

    What you´re describing as lag on the receiving end is exactly the bug. There is no lag. The casted skill from stealth is exactly what´s causing this behavior.

    You can't animation cancel snipe, or any other channeled/cast time skill. You can animation cancel the trailing animation at best. Also since the change that came recently (with DB I think?) to animation cancelling, all sounds for skills now play even if block cancelled or swap cancelled. They also jacked up animation cancelling so people get stuck in heavy attacks and other bugs... but that's a different discussion.

    Also they nerfed stealth AGES ago - going on a year at this point. You can hear people buffing and using skills/attacks from stealth now. Not only that, but from the same range you can hear a player who's not stealthed. Because of this, I now PVP with headphones and my effects volume jacked up. You can hear a ganker casting radiant magelight from roughly 25m away. You can hear a heavy bow attack being released with roughly 1/2 a second of lead time before it lands. It was a ninja nerf, no patch notes to my knowledge. I learned it when I went to gank one of my buddies while we were in TS together and he said "I heard you casting magelight" when I asked him why he blocked.

    I see you heavy attack weaving with dizzying swing... You're not bypassing the cast time of the ability.

    Jeez look for the wind up bruh it's not there hence the animation cancle all you see is the heavy attack and all of a sudden boom dizzying swing of you can't see that your out your mind

    You are not animation cancelling that Wrecking Blow. You are weaving a heavy, which for some reason bugs out, and shows the full animation of your heavy, instead of the windup to the WB. The cast time is still there. It is very possible that your opponent was seeing the windup as well.

    Also, punctuation is a thing.

    Again, and I don't know how to make this more clear, you are not bypassing the cast time of wrecking blow in any way when you medium weave. This whole discussion came up when someone claimed that you can animation cancel snipe to shoot 6 snipes in 1 second and I said that you can't cancel the cast time of a channeled or cast time ability and still get the damage of the ability. Your video does nothing to prove this wrong - you are still honoring the cast time of Dizzying Swing while medium weaving.

    I guess we're are on different paths on what animation is i consider a animation to be the visual part of the wind up hence saying I'm using this ability which is really easy to counter by the way but if you can make the wind up disappear all together I'm pretty sure I just canceled the animation for that particular ability hence being called animation canceling. Right or wrong

    You are right on one thing it is a bug but the opponent sees what I see I have figured out and tested this bug and I know exactly how it works. I don't care for punctuation feel free to edit and correct this if it makes you feel better.
