Blocking without regen is not enough to deter people from using the block button in pvp, even with the time it takes to restart stam regen being almost laughable. People still play classes without shields or cloak, so i think when you use block it needs a 200% armor reduction and minor maim. Should fix the people complaining about this class being OP or that class being OP, because they ARE those classes now! I want my nobel prize now.

OP, Use dark cloak instead of shadow disguise and for resources use tri-regen drinks as well buy/make health essence pots that gives back resources.

Use nirnhorned on weapons and put some CP points in to resistant or spell resistance in the steed tree or use reinforced trait or 1:1:5 ratio armor set.

Yes, you will lose DPS but you will survive in close range combat without depending on gank tactics/strategies.

So in short, be a tank!!!

I can infinitely cloak. As in, timing it right, I can cloak forever. Shadow image, healing from sap, healing ward, dodge chance from double take and cloak... Plenty of survivability. Unless you're running a vd build. But that's a sacrifice you've made.

Sry you can't just purge an entire classes main dps source with a defence skill then renders you invisible anymore.

The ability to purge 4 dots for a cheap costing skill thats also the best dmg mitigation skill in the game needed balancing.

Each use only purged a single DOT... and sometimes it didn't even do that. The invisibility is arguable as it doesn't work more often that not. Basically it removed that useful part of the defensive skill... Shouldn't there be a counter to DOTs? Maybe increase the cost?

It's all part of the conspiracy to make DOTs the new meta.

No, one morph used to purge dots and at rank 1 it only purged 1 dot per cast. Each level it gained let it purge one more, ending with the insanely powerful 4 dot purge that turned dot based builds into jokes. And if you think cloak as essentially a magicka based dodge roll (with no stacking cost) that clears tab targeting and can be used to far greater use than just a shield or just a heal, then that's just down to the user.

I'm more then sure you're just trolling with this thread. There is no way you can actually be serious. I have a VR16 Magblade, Stamblade, Stamplar and MagDK. My Magblade is the easiest of all of them to get kills and stay alive. I love my Magblade and seeing someone saying they need a buff annoys the heck out of me because THEY DON'T. You need a buff a "L2P" buff.

Currently mag nb is the most *** balancing I've ever seen in a game. Aside from sorc shield stacking, only because shields are crit proof.

Atleast someone should mention how broken it's class execute (killers blade stam morph) skill is for stam users. Utilizes stamina, yet does magicka damage.

my whole group of 24 people just got F KED up by people using a *** crap op class like YOU
kept harassing us by proxy detonation and VD . bomb and wow 10 people down

and ZENIMAX you are such a JOKE as a developer for allow such thing to happen SHAME ON YOU

all my hard earned imperial stones worked up for 4 hours are gone within 15 mins

roxy detonation dead 3800 > 780
i got left behind, 2 NB stab and cc > dead> 78
and whats left are meaningless so i just walk out and let them kill me again and i have 8

Amazingly, in this game, one skill you cannot say is bugged is cloak. It works as they intended it.

The only reason this thread may have even started is because Cloak is so broken right now for nightblade's. Uppercut, Vicecannon, Volatile Armour (DoT), Malubeth, Entropy, every gap closer in game.. all are things breaking cloak. Everyone in pvp seems to be using one of these things that breaks cloak so...

I understand why he would think Magicka Nightblades are weak right now... however if cloak was working intended... they would be probably the best open world class in the game. Summon Image makes them the most elusive builds in the game but they can also spam cloak to the ends of time. Not to mention they can use Proxi Det very efficiently and take on mulitple targets easily.

Either OP is a troll or just at the mercy of broken Shadow Cloak.


Just realized this thread was made in April.... all the issues cloak have now did not even exist back then. @joshhh_nb Thanks for bringing up a dead thread. Magicka Nightblades do not need a buff, all they need is the cloak bug fixes coming in pts.

MagBlades are so overpowered at the moment that you will see about one every 30 minutes. StamBlades are so underpowered that you see them as often as MagPlars, who are obviously also underpowered.
