Nb have the most broken gapcloser in this game, both mag and stam morphs available too.
You have easy access to healing debuf and dmg buffs.
Easy ultimate gain, easy movespeed and utility. To sum up, nb are the class that uses the most class skills. Take a stam dk for example, only weapon skills and alliance war skills, barely uses any class skills at all. So if you think weapon skill line are better then your own class skills, feel free to change anytime.

Btw, I would gladely trade green dragonblood, flappy wings and chains for your teleport, dodge chance and cloak!

Magic nightblades are fine.

What the OP is talking about is that he feels he needs to wear light armor as a magic class and cannot get the burst heal of a templar or the shield of a sorc.

The only thing I can agree on in this situation is there are numerous ways to pull a nightblade out of stealth. But where's the mageguild ability that lets me deactivate a sorcs shields and leave them off for 6 seconds? Or the assault ability to create a glowing AoE that prevents templar healing in the circle for 15 seconds?

Nightblades get an OP rap because there are so many playing them especially since TG. But the truth is good players out there will curb stomp you with all classes.

3 players with proxy gap close into a pile of any class and the pile is toast.

take flight should get a huge buff, make it undodgeable and hit harder, the take flight we have now cannot one shot zerg, make it hit 30k without empower and this game will be balanced

I find the class balance rather good in TG. At least better than ever. I would say Im an average player. Im fine with my stam nb with 2h/bow although ppl say it sucks. But its always in a context. My build is made for zerging. If I meet someone with a 1vX build I most likely loose. But that was my decision not the game balance. In my opinion first skill second build and third gear quality decide over the result of a 1v1. Balance comes after that. Skill has much more influence than in other games.

I find it much more annoying that noone wants a fight on even ground. Everyone expects to win before it starts. Most time Im defeated I had zero chance to respond, at all being rooted+stunned+fps drops+at least 10 red circles unable to break free before its over. Thats what should be fixed with being much less rewarded. This would in my oppinion fix most fps and ping issues at the same time. Class balance is really secondary. You're barely ever face someone 1v1 situations.

I btw escape with dodge roll-> sprint using the bow passive. Cloak is for me not an escape skill, barely ever works. But its still essential as utility for helping me to stun, crit, increase resistance and suppress dots, give time to heal.

PS: if you want to annoy mag nbs just take a bow and spam bombard. most ppl dodge roll instantly. After the second dodge roll->hard cc -> burst -> mag nb is dead. 4 of 5 you can defeat like this. I find that's enough for feeling good.

Edit: thats for Azura which I find in general more balanced. Cant speak for CP campaigns.

I think he means slight *nerf* to solo PVP. Is there any other class where you need to slot one particular ability just to get a fair fight?

Ok, you need to think of this, weaving funnel health with light attacks. I know a guys funnel health costed 800-900 magicka which heals you and does damage at the same time. When you get pressured just go into stealth and wait for your resources and go back out.

The fact still is that a class like templar (both magicka and stamina) , heck even a magicka dk got more survivability and userfriendly skills. Dont even get me started on sorcs.
All other classes except nb can get by in pvp spamming 2 or 3 skills.
No timing required what so ever.

1. make stealth perma but u can only attack or be hurt by other ppl in stealth
2. when using a damage shield u can only stack more damage shields or use the dance emote
3. remove all class skills and make a new skill line called "communism"
4. VD explodes on every1 on the server including the caster
5. BoL only works on tuesdays in pvp
6. green dragons blood and scales only work after shouting in zone "arrow to the knee"
7. every1 gets a oh crap button for 1 use a hr to tele to a safe place wen they realize that guy they were about to gank was bait

easy fix i say to worrying who's more OP

I can infinitely cloak. As in, timing it right, I can cloak forever. Shadow image, healing from sap, healing ward, dodge chance from double take and cloak... Plenty of survivability. Unless you're running a vd build. But that's a sacrifice you've made.

Sry you can't just purge an entire classes main dps source with a defence skill then renders you invisible anymore.

The ability to purge 4 dots for a cheap costing skill thats also the best dmg mitigation skill in the game needed balancing.

Each use only purged a single DOT... and sometimes it didn't even do that. The invisibility is arguable as it doesn't work more often that not. Basically it removed that useful part of the defensive skill... Shouldn't there be a counter to DOTs? Maybe increase the cost?

It's all part of the conspiracy to make DOTs the new meta.
