    Balanced...

But NB with extradamage have low regeneration (~950) and bad survival. So... learn to play.
Who needs regen when your target is already dead before she or he had a chance to react thanks to bad gameplay design and horribly latency? Stop fooling yourself, it's not doing the Nightblade class nor the game as a whole any good.

If you can't react against a NB attack, is not problem of the bad gameplay or latency....is a serious L2P issue....

    Deffinatly a L2P issue.

I think if you played a Magika sorc you wouldnt think NB's were overpowered.
If you had any idea about the Nightblade class as a whole compared to every other class as a whole, you would not compare the Nightblade class to specifically a Magicka Sorcerer.

That is what the class is designed to do. There's a whole NB tree called "Assassination".

I play a magicka NB and it's basically a second rate magicka Sorc without the good shields, frags, and stun/damage/teleport escape. I really don't know where all the hate comes from. Cloak? Barely ever saves me. When the zerg is a movin' all perish in its wake.

How can you react if nb can stun you with unbreakable bugged stun from stealth and then proceed with two-three shot you? You need to get feeble magelight morph just to counter them spambush you which is stupid.

If exist a bug of a unbreakable stun (I never see that in Ps4) is not a OP problem.....

React against a NB attack with my templar is "very easy", break free to break the stun, aedric spear to pull away the enemy and use purify to remove the armor reduction and other heal skills like healing ward and rune focus to protect myself (and block, that unknowed skill for some players...)

If Nb still hidden, you can use blazing spear over the last location (or another obvious spots to hide like stones or corners) to find him, then you can use skills like Toppling Charge, Dark flare, Radiant Destruction and the most popular, Puncturing sweeps to fight them....if is a bad NB, surely flees like a *** because he loses the stealth advantage...if is a good NB...then starts a battle where you can kill....or die....but a player with more skill than you, not means a OP Class....

And obviously, you can get screwed in the first attack of the NB, but....the life is hard buddy, this is not a Disney movie, always with happy ending!! xD

So in resume....all your hate against NB is a one of the most biggest L2P ever seen in a videogame

Yeah. Can confirm that since 1.7 stamina NB is just easy mode. Getting killed by Ambush, Surprise Attack is getting old.

Please, show me other stamina skills of a NB class skill tree that I can use for my stamina NB builds...Killer's Blade ¬¬?

Getting killed by Crystal Fragments, Daedric Curse, Crystal Fragments, Mages Wrath is getting old too....but I supose that Sorcs are the next objective of this nerf madness when NB turns useless

I have a question for the nerf brigade. So which class is balanced right now? Which class do all the other classes have to be put in line with to make them balanced? Which class is in the sweet spot right now?

I have both iterations of Nightblade and Sorc and IMO: A Magika Sorc should never and/or rarely ever lose to a NB, period. But thats a L2P issue as well.

My first 2 characters are Stamina Nightblades. The second of which was leveled to Vet Rank through PvP only. The utility available is EASILY countered 100% of the time by Piercing Mark. However, that requires you to be a Nightblade yourself. Once the second character hit VR, I took the opportunity to try some other classes...

I started with a DK, got to level 13, got bored of the skills alone, deleted it. I wanted to play something fun. Then it occurred to me that while I was PvPing with the Nightblade, the class that I found to be the hardest to play against was a Templar.

So I leveled up a Templar and went in S&B - jabbing everything in sight. Nightblades were the easiest class to fight as Templar. Combining DoTs, with AoE Knockback/snare AND Detect pots - Nightblades are the squishiest thing in Cyrodiil especially StamBlades. It was so much fun that I convinced a friend to also role a Templar. The most common phrase while we PvP'd - "Got caught! Should of just stayed stealth where you were safe NB!" Magicka Nightblades were slightly more difficult only due to the Resto healing. Eventually we came to the concluded that Templars are very viable in terms of a Nightblade counter.

That doesn't mean that I didn't die from Nightblades either. I just died less (A LOT LESS) by simply increasing my chances to pull the Nightblade out of stealth AND keep them there. In fact I realized not only was I dying less from NBs, but now I was dying MORE from Sorcs.

I then realized that this games is like f'n pokemon. One class will never be able to effectively counter the other three. They will be able to counter at least one, maybe two, but never all three. That's the way it should be. It's in the TESO logo itself! The Ouroboros of factions also applies to classes.

The strongest piece of advice that I could give a player having trouble against another class is to simply role a character of that class. Learn the skills and rotations, become familiar with it. Treat it like your main toon. THEN switch back to your other character after a while. Having that insight is worth more than any skill in the game.

All classes should be as one-dimensional and buggy as my stamina templar tank.

FACT: none of you other classes know a damn thing about skillful pvp'ing. Play the master-gimp-class then talk balance, you invisible cowards.

I dislike them even more since I´ve played them both in pve and pvp (stam and mag).

Cloak + Shade is undoubtly the strongest ability combination in the game. Also the only real counter to cloak is a NB specific skill (pots never were an issue when i´ve played mine).

I disagree, if somebody is stood near your shade or caltrops is placed around your shade the skill is useless. I do think it is very strong however.

It's bad game design when you can be instantly killed without any meaningful window for countering the attack. The latency we experience in Cyrodiil only adds insult to injury.

Reality is that anyone you two shot you could unstealth at 40 paces, wave to and still kill them without breaking a sweat.

I can state that anyone that is halfway decent at pvp isn't being two shot.

There are some... sure. The real "unprepared for pvp" types are more like a 3-4 shot though, without much reaction on their part.

Only reason I'm even commenting is because it's not the first time I've seen the claim that NB's two shot people... and from my experience it basically never happens unless it's an extreme ganker build that all weapdmg and the two shots are snipes.

If you seeing this first time you definitly should read forums better then. Must be something with your eyes.
I have two\threeshoted people myself several times with meteor+proxydet combo on magblade. It's completely possible.
And much easier on stamblade if caught unprepared considering lack of p.def CP.
