Need more spell damage! I need to try tri-stat food again to see if the extra stamina is worth the loss of health and magicka.
I switched to purp food, as a sorc the additional break frees have made a world of difference, I would highly suggest trying it out0 -

Well I'm chain chugging tri-stat pots whenever I'm 1vXing or fighting extremely skilled players so with the Major Endurance, Bloodspawn, 40 points in mooncalf, and A Daedric ability slotted I'm ~1200 stamina regen. I have the additional requirement of being able to spam Defensive stance on top of dodge rolling in addition to breaking free. I think a sorc who only used stam for break-free could get away with 800-1000 regen. Not really. I see him in IC almost everyday. When ever i hit with just one basic attack with shield breaker he just flies to other district.
Plus overload attacks easy to dodge for a nb anyway. Shuffle , dodge roll..
Depending on your attacks sure. I 2-shot people constantly with my overload build. If you're using a bow with shield breaker as a NB you're dead. And if you want to play the dodge roll game there is heavy attacks and Velocious curse...kills them slower but just the same.
The only two players who have given me any issues with shield breaker are two of the best duelers in the game and would give me almost as much trouble without it. Out of dozens of players running shield breaker the overwhelming majority of them die extremely easy because shield breaker is a crutch for skill.
Depending on many other circumstances aswell. Thats what we call "skill" tho. Anyway i just knew that dude's name thats what im talking about thats all. I dont know you, i dont have any bet or claim about you. Talking about abilities kinda useless at this point. Its like "i can mark you, i can curse you, can bla bla you and boom you are dead". Yeap. "dude" is actually a lady...which I find are typically more defensive players which is probably why she runs. In the heat of combat it's also not immediately clear which trashcan is spamming you with light attacks the first time you're hit with it so I often "run" until out of range of it myself until I can determine the correct approach and recalculate my strategy for dealing with the threat.
I'm not a fan of duels in game or on the forums either, I'm just speaking from my experience in dealing with the set. You typically find the lowest skill players using it....or good players who are disgruntled with a chip on their shoulder. I teabag anyone using it relentlessly because I know the primary reason they are using it is because their hatred of sorcs overcomes their good sense.

✭To chime in on the Shield Breaker set;
Sorcs' shield can also be destroyed using good pressure techniques--really this is all one needs to break through one of their better defense[s.]. The Shield Breaker set is a gimmick set more or less...and thus do not win you fights against a smart opponent regardless if a shield is used. Play smart opponents in games like Marvel vs. Capcom or Street Fighter. These same pressure principles also apply in these core fighting games.
On topic: Hoping to get a good amount of magic on my Sorc, but I am still throwing around a bunch of ideas as to what to do with her. So, I'm hopping on the wait band wagon to see what VR removal looks like first. Since my Sorc is only vr2.Edited by Takes-No-Prisoner on 5 January 2016 22:100 -

that 10k hp, so cute. 5x shieldbreaker and poof, need to be fast, if you hit hard. as for me, il stay at 46k but with 24k hp thank you, feels a bit more save, and still op

Well not everyone is a good pvper. That Sorc burst combo kills most people I throw it on, it's ridiculously powerful for something so easy to pull off. The only class that can burst me down with the strength of my shields atm is a stamblade.

That's fairly untrue. A good player with shield breaker pressures shields and health at the same time, keeping sorcs from applying continuous pressure. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it takes a good player to use shield breaker effectively. The problem is that less experienced players are bad at switching between pressure and self-preservation, and usually die before the fight is a fight.

✭✭✭✭In two weeks the max Magicka builds with low health and no impen won't matter in PVP.
I've dueled on PTS, getting stunned at 4-5 seconds into a shield is usually instant death. Every time. Physical crits chew into health fast. With impen you can survive it and toss up healing Ward with your shields.
Sure you can reapply the shield stack every three seconds, but then that's all you'll ever be doing. You won't kill anyone.0 -
