@fengrush
Your latest video the combo you said to study......
Crit Rush - Light Attack - Wrecking Blow - light attack (while backing up; Molag Kena Proc) - Crit Rush - Wrecking Blow - Executioner ????
Am I right? You have it down and it was very fast and hard to watch on my phone.
Second question, does the light attack to proc Kena eat your empower buff?
This is a prime example of how ZOS doesn't care if you exploit known bugs such as: 2H axe bleed and molag kena proc. Instead ZOS is kissing butt and asking OP if they can use his build on battle blah blah blah.
In this video what we have is a player good or not basically telling his viewers and the whole community to cheat why? Because that's the meta in ESO.
Do i like your build? Yes, do I think you're a solid player with solid concepts? Yes, but you don't have to promote cheating/exploiting that my friend brings IMO your integrity as a player down into the dumps alongside with all the other exploiters.
Quick fix use a 2H SWORD or hammer and use 2 consecutive LA's to proc molag. does this change yur build? NO. does it change the fact your are currently using known exploits?Yes.

This is correct for the most part - when you backpedal for the crit rush after kena proc, youre going to make a decision based on your target. Do you need another WB? Was this a lighter target that didnt block anything? If so, you could be looking at the kill here, which means after that rush, you will likely light atk (bash if needed to pull health slightly lower) then execute. Can repeat light atk execute again if almost had them and theyre not being healed.
Its really just weaving proper rotations, otherwise, you will go back to WB light atk crit rush combos. You will probably need to streak at some point if you dont burst hard on that open, depends on your target entirely. If its a healer blocking a lot, you will be grinding WBs into them to burn their stam down. They will call you a WB spammer - but this is literally your best option to take them down, as youre not really given anything better to do to them.

Thanks,
Curious question, have you and Tuggles given any thought when your running around together to run Powefull Assault and Spell Power Curr?
Not that you two don't wreck in current set up but those bonuses together with a Kena Proc would seem pretty stout, theory crafting anyway...
I have mad respect for you Fengrush, so this is isn't aimed at you but that's 4 weapon skills, a joker slot, and an ulti for a 20% passive. Stam sorcs are in such a bad place I'm almost giving up on mine (main since EA). I really want her to work, but I feel like if I don't act as a WB/ST robot I'm gimping myself. And those are two of the skills I hate the most in the game :P
I don't mean to derail your thread, I'm sorry. The videos are great, and so are you, I'm just so disheartened at the moment.
I'm definitely not a pro player or anything so maybe my opinion is wrong, but a lot of my issues with stam sorc would be solved if we could crit shields and blockers. Without shield breaker, I really don't have much of a chance against a good Sorc as my self healing gets wrecked. I also think we need a way to layer dmg so it comes out as burst. You know how magicka sorc does Curse, Endless Fury, Frags proc so that they all do dmg at once? Stam sorcs need some kind of mechanic like that. Stam DK and Stam NB use their ultimates to layer their burst dmg but Sorc has no ultimate that works that way and have to rely on Bats or Dawnbreaker.
You are correct - that is why I use meteor to lay in heavy damage with Wblow as well.
Also agree on shields not allowing crits. This was a huge complaint of mine coming into patch. They should amp shield damage a bit if needed to counter this - but people should be able to crit shields. It literally negates peoples class/armor/skill setups, and its generally screwed up.
Any tips for using Meteor? I've used it myself often but it is a real pain against Cloaking NB or reflecting DK or 1h&s user. The incoming animation for Meteor is so obvious that it is rare someone doesn't block it and get out of the dot dmg almost immediately.
NBs you can reveal them just before impact with spin2win and they will take the full hit banking on avoiding it all to begin with. Could also use a detect pot. Its really about timing, and sometimes it just doesnt connect.
Against DKs, drop an atro if theyre tanky - youre better off. A lot of stam DKs dont put reflect up, you can identify this pretty early on in fighting them.
@FENGRUSH I have been meaning to ask you, how have you been dealing with gap closer mini stun? Do you find this a problem? (specifically being spammed)
I have always played a stam sorc, and I have been running a heavy armor build. When I am not theorycrafting it and it is in a polished state it is near unstoppable in a 1v1/2v1 (I have both a bow/sword board and 2hand/sword board variants that work well), and I have been inconsistently successful in fights as high as 1v5 and 2v8. It does very, very well in imperial city and duels, but gap closer mini stun has forced me into a long range build in Cyrodiil (although, this is partly my own fault as I play ungrouped/solo and chase large groups for sport).
Do you find that the mini stun is less problematic with a damage focused and/or aoe focused build? I am thinking of trying that balance next.
Also, the other evening I got steamrolled by a group of EP while running solo at chal farm and shortly afterwards I'm pretty sure it was your group or a group you were traveling with who showed up and ganked the hell out of them. So thanks for that ^_^ and for the rez.

Better to slot dawn breaker of smiting than atro more efficient and effective in reversing pressure. Atro can be bashed feared or poisoned to easily worthless. Not to mention insane tooltip on magicka sorc and nb 18k crits easy

One question - the headgear on your Orc, those horns that face behind, how do you get those? Doesn't look like normal kena

The gap closer spam is serious bad to deal with on stam sorc because mobility is one of our big strengths, and the freezing just destroys the movement you get.
S+B is very good and Ill have it in my next build, but I find it tougher to close down targets in a bigger group or put it to good use. I find using the bulldozer build and coming in dropping someone fast then moving out to strike again works best in those scenarios. May need to practice on it more though.
@Cathexis Fair enough. I am guessing it uses Light-Pierce-Bash weaving, Invasion, and Defensive stance rather than Reverb-Bash. But is probably still surge reliant rather than vigour?
