Glass looks EXTREMELY ugly !

I finally managed to get my first Glass weapon. I was so excited for this style, because it is perfection itself.
And the form looks cool. But.... WHAT DID YOU DO ZENIMAX ! If the ancient founders of this style would know about this.... their graves would explode.
When I received it, it was unimproved and looked so epic. Like glass should look like.
But as I improved it, it began to look uglier and uglier. Now finally on legendary (golden), it's merely an ugly grey. Yes, it still looks pretty amazing. But
the color is dissapointing. What does this have to do with glass anymore ? I'm not putting so much effort into getting something, if the final result has nothing to do with glass anymore.
I expect the average vulcanic green glass color. But NOT this ! :
Please, for the love of Auri-El and the founders of this style and the effort people put into it: Fix this. Give it what we expect from it : GLASS LOOK.
EDIT: Only the staff is glass style.

Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis2 -

✭I really enjoyed the glass look in Skyrim, I had hoped they would just basically copy and paste that, and they still might have? It's just the staff perhaps the armour itself is nicer looking?

Likewise, I didn't like any of the glass armor in the previous games - but then I generally disliked all of the armors in Morrowind (even though they were probably the most original and unique).
I know, I know ... heresy and all that ... so settle down. Loved the game, hated the graphics. I think I ended up wearing the Nordic ring mail over a shirt for my armor the entire game.
In Skyrim, I wore Nordic steel most of the game until I got Dawnguard. I loved the glass swords ... I used a pair of those at endgame.
I don't think the armor looks terrible ... but can't you dye it green?War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
