Argonian Racial ideas

Amphibious: bump up the when you drink a potions restores 6% max health/stamina/magic, to 9%
Argonian Resistance: increase max health by 3% and poison & disease resistance by 1400, to 7% max health and poison/disease resist to 2500
Quick to Mend: Increase healing received by 6% to healing received by 9%

This would allow EbonHeart Pact a mix of a tanky type race choice over Nord and allow magicka builds to reduce points spent on health into magicka pool or stamina pool for stat point allocation.
Plus a decent poison/disease resist (bow attack skills or disease weapon)
Potion effect benefit to any play style.
Healing recieved benefit to any play style, and real good for tanks.

This might alleviate need/want to respec race choice if Argonian race passives were attractive or least workable enough to reallocate points around. A cushion to respend points elsewhere.

Kinda makes argonian choice a mix choice, play it for the look yet allow flexible choices to fit any build.

I like these numbers. I hardly notice what I have as an Argonian as it stands now. I'd even push for 9% max health since it's our only stat.

ya i Thought about 9% be awesome to but would settle for least 7%.... go long way to making Argonians an attractive race to pick beyond looks.

Throw them out and start over. There's no saving them. They need to think resource boosts.

Also, they should boost Nords to be tanks. Argonians should be geared toward nightblade. Think Shadowscales.

Awesome lizard tail: argonians can tear off their tail and use it as a weapon for 10 minutes. By doing so, they receive +20% spell and weapon damage for 20 minutes. (Cooldown 10 hours)

EDIT: Or make that an additional rider to the current disease resistance.

Argonian are a natural guerrilla race since they are able to camouflage themselves within the environment (as any reptile does), so I wouldn't complain with a boost for the sneaking, increasing the sneaking speed movement or decreasing the sneaking cost/detection radius
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Argonians should have stealthy and regeneration. That's their theme. I also agree with what @junkogen that the Nords should be bumped up a little in the tanking department.

Argonians, Nords, and Orcs need some serious love in the racial passive department.

But, I dunno. The longer I think about it, the more I'm becoming convinced that racials in this game need a complete overhaul.

I think the XP boost to skill lines is fine, and should remain as is.

With the removal of soft caps, though, I'm thinking that racials with any effect whatsoever on Magicka, Health, Stamina (or their regeneration) should just be completely removed and replaced with something more along the lines of a quality of life boost. What that would be, I have no idea.

I would also like to see each race receive a new active non-combat ability. For instance, I really miss the "Night Eye" ability the Khajiit had from previous games.

Anyway, I'm just spitballing. But it's clear that - the way things stand now - a handful of races are rising to the top, leaving the rest to sit in the back of the bus.

I dunno. I'm thinking "Swift" and "Robust" can't really hold a candle to "Flame Resistant" and "Flame Talent".

Deltia and several others seem to think that "Robust" is the single most useless racial passive in the game.

Of course, I'm a weapons-grade noob, so I'm open to being corrected. ;)

I'm still not clear as to which "charge attacks" the Swift passive works with?

Does it work with any of the Teleport Strike morphs for the Nightblade?

    Just wondering.

i supose its increasing wep charge atks, but adds sprint speed also for lower cost, at least gives something usefull for any class, compared to flame talent that its usefull just for DK...

Rather than this, the shed tail can act as a decoy, drawing aggro from nearby enemies for 5 seconds and let the Argonian run away whole they are focused on its tail. Like RL :p

    Wait, so:
    - 9% stats gain on potion
    - 9% more health
    - 9% more healing received
    - 2400 poison/dissease resistance
    - AND 50% swimming increase?

OP race here haha, really that's kind of ridiculous. It would be too strong, especially in combination with tripots. It's really not so simple to do that. And btw Argonian isn't that bad, they make great tanks. I'm not saying they are as strong as other (imperial ftw) but this is a bit too much buffed.

Robust is limited if you don't build around it. Health Regen has the lowest base value of all 3 ressources but the talent has a much higher percentage compared to other passives like Vigor and Spellcharge (30% instead of 9%). Which means if you build a character around health regeneration you can get a lot more out of that passive compared to most of its other ressources counterparts because values on sets are the same for all 3 regeneration ressources.

I'm still leveling my Templar Khajiit tank, but having reached VR4 and done a couple of VR dungeons of my level, I have been able to sustain any threats with around 20K health, 25K armour/spellresist and 3400 health regen. And during boss fights my health usualy remains steady with little assistance from the Healer.

Is a regen tank more powerfull than your classic Imperial + Caltrop AoE tank? Depends, when it comes to dealing damage and large battles, probably not. But when it comes to a single target fight with the occasional adds in between or lockout mechanics, that regen might actualy be a lot better.

    Could everyone please go rewatch that video and take a shot every time they say phrases Such as;
"The reason this would be difficult"
"However we also have to consider"
"It would be really cool but..."
    "Would take a long time"

Take a sip of water every time they mention a positive aspect. I suggest top shelf liquor for this, and perhaps multiple bottles. A small bottle of water will suffice.

I like your ideas OP. I am more in favor of buffing current passive values than wholesale changing them like many other people seem to advocate. ZOS has said they will be tweaking racial passives in the next update, so I expect some things to change. They definitely have to address racial passives now that softcaps are gone (should have done this when 1.6 went live).
