I personally don't think this was possibly without everyone's help bringing this to attention to the GM's, you've guys have been great and thank you to the guys at ZOS for clearing this up.
In regards to those who argue we should not receive this; the bottom like is Loyality cannot be gauged by the when we started playing but how much we invested into the francise. Our RL are all different and due to circumstances some are not able to subscribe at some point during another, as mentioned countless times.
Honestly if you boast about how you never unsubscribed and how loyal you are, then I am sure a few more people getting some digital items won't suddenly make your loyalty waver. Unless you just want to appear more special than the masses, just admit it but don't throw words like fairness or loyal around.

Sounds like a cash grab.
A loyalty Reward with the ability for everyone to get it even if they did not even play the game until now as long as the pay $$$$$ lots for it...
Yeah I smell cash grab..almost as bad as locking races and factions behind pay walls...
OH wait nvm....
Yeah, nevermind, almost nobody's going to do that. So it's not really a cash grab if you don't let people outside of your most fanatical fanbase know, "hey, here's this thing we're sellin', you maybe wanna piece of this awesome here?"
At least all the money from everyone bumping themselves to 300 days paid subscription to get a giant cat mount will go back into the PC GAME and not into development for consoles.....oh wait nvm.
Yeah, nevermind. Come back when you're talking sense. Those cards are already sold, so far as ZoS is concerned. The stores gave them money for them. That cash is already in ZoS's pockets.
Some people used subscriptions to bump themselves not pre paid cards. Buy 90 days sub, cancel, but another 90 day sub, cancel.
Well, your wonderful conspiracy plan just fell apart, because ZoS locked down the 180 day sub before this announced. If this was really a cash grab, wouldn't you want to... you know, grab some cash?

I think you miss understand. You can buy 90 days of sub, cancel the subscription, then buy another 90 days of sub, cancel that and then buy another 90 days of sub. SO it eventually adds up to 300 days, or use the pre paid method.
That's what I was told any way. It's obvious it's a cash grab. Otherwise they would of only allowed people with PLAYED days to get the mount. Not anyone who throws money at them.
@The_Antiquarian Hey my friend, have you not had a chance to visit the Official Site? It's on the front page.

So it makes it ok because the money is in pre paid cards?
I think it bothers a lot of long term players a loyalty reward is not played time but PAYED time.

No contest there (on the irking long term players, anyway). But the way it's set up, ZoS hasn't made it easy, no, make that, possible to give them money to buy their way around. Meaning it doesn't really qualify as a cash grab.
EDIT: Again, the prepaid card money goes to the retailers that paid ZoS for them in the first place. ZoS already has the money for those cards, so they don't see the profits from a few players rushing out and buying up two or three cards at once.

Your arguing semantics, they charge for people to get to 300 days, that's the requirement. End of story.

....
Yeah... the afternoon ended quite a while ago here on the east coast.
I personally wish they would not say anything. Rather than say they'll update everyone and not deliver.
It's like adding insult to injury.
Here is the quote from the main site
"If you've been exploring Tamriel for nine months, you have another special gift coming soon! We're adding the Mask of Cheerful Slaughter to our loyalty program. Inspired by none other than the dread lord of madness himself, no enemy will escape your unnerving countenances when you wear it into battle—or just around the tavern to creep out your friends.
This reward joins the High Hrothgar Wraith and the Loyal Dwarven Sphere as a token of our appreciation. When you've been a paid subscriber for nine months, you'll receive it in your in-game mail!"
http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2015/02/19/nine-month-loyalty-reward-and-more
Now, as long as you have PAID for 9 months you get the Mask of Cheerful Slaughter. So, to recap... if you have PAID for 9 months of game time (270 days) you will receive the Mask of Cheerful Slaughter and if you've PAID for 300 days (1 more month) you will receive the Striped Senche Mount. These rewards no longer have anything to do with longevity of subscription but money committed.
SO... if you have NOT been with ESO from the beginning and would like either of these "Loyalty Rewards" just make sure you have applied at LEAST 300 days worth of game time to your account before March 17!
Awesome!

Dev hasn't mentioned anything about Loyalty Rewards afterward. We have been waiting for hours for nothing. Should've just told us that the update will be provided tomorrow or as the other fellow pointed out above, just maintain their silence.

I sent a PM and she didnt respond to that either. I guess they just ignore us when we send them messages. Is kind of bad they had all day and couldnt be bothered to follow through on what they said. I like you just want thtem to clarify this one issue. I dont understand why its got to be so complicated. They can say yes you get it if you simply pay or not you wont get it unless you have been here 9 months.

Not true. It does not say if you have paid for. It like ALL the other rewards requires you not only to have paid for the time but used it up. If the answer was as simple as you make it out why did the dev say she would have to get back with us? The senche yes you are correct. The mask I believe you are not correct.
