No alliance just people like hitting EP :) atm we're hitting DC, given how long they got left alone and then cos they were too dumb to go around bleakers decide to rage at us and tell us they're going to lock us in at faregyl they're kind of asking for it... They're so easy to wipe though...

Yeah, good luck telling the pugs that on EP side lol. The second they see AD and DC pushing both of our fronts. There's this level 28 who just starts ranting about "AD and DC are colluding. Those bunch of exploiters. They should get banned." Of course, I'm paraphrasing, but it is certainly fun laughing at the guy.

About the DC, most of their good groups (late night/early morning) are rarely ever south of the Aleswell-Chalman line. The only way to get the good groups of DC to come fight is to hit their home keeps. Otherwise, they're busy with EP up North and trying to act like they killed millions,e.g., bitaken lol.

In our defense, pugs are always stupid. For gods sake we all (people in good guilds/teamspeak) know that pugs will charge in to get people to oil first. Then there always that one guy whos using fire ballista on the stone walls. List goes on.

Also, to be fair, most of us have picked wabba and stayed. There will always be those cowards who see there may be a chance at not winning and leave. BLOOD FOR THE PACT

AD Oceanic is mostly three guilds from what I know.

    Igni Ferroque
    DiE
    TKG

Igni Ferroque lately has been running 24 mans or 2x16 man groups.
Igni was supposed to be the NA rival of Synapse, but we recruited heavily in AU.
We picked up a lot of people from other guilds that are now dead like Synapse and Loud Damage.
We used to run a 12-16 man, and be more organized, but we still do ok.
Currently we have enough leadership to run 2x12 mans, but start to get sloppy after that.

    DiE
Lead by Moon Die, runs 12 mans for the most part. I hear they are known as "The AoE group" by blue. They are from AU as well.

    The Korean Group (TKG)
They are all about that AP farm, and are really strong players.
If you see bleakers being held at 4am Pacific. 20 dollars says it is them.
I don't know them very well yet. Usually we run by each other in the middle of no where.

Earlier someone mentioned inter group teamwork. Here is how that worked.

Igni, DiE, and Alacrity (11 minute AA trials group) coordinated in teamspeak / guild chat.

We divided up keep takes and defense tasks.
We opened the gate. Igni and DiE punched through
"Fuzzy The Great" wrangled a pug group (a daunting task) to hold the gate.
Igni and DiE walked in, took the scroll, and walked out.

Igni was rolling with 20ish that night
    Die about 12
    Alacrity about 12

Someone said we had 70+ people. At our peek with pugs, that's probably true.

Igni Ferroque will be moving to the 30 day vet campaign when it comes. I hope to see other organized groups there.
If you would to contact Igni Ferroque (regardless of faction) whisper myself or Cloneinkk

EP would have been lucky to get 30 people willing to listen at that time of day. Repeated yells of "AD repairing main gate" got no traction at Kings (damned pugs I tell you), so that rear guard was definitely overkill.

Anyway, you could just waltz in with 20 organized players without much resistance, as long as you keep fixate and crew occupied elsewhere. Clever plan and nice execution- too bad that EP pop was too dead to offer a good fight.
  • Gumbicus
    Gumbicus
lol we filled the inside of kings with 20 oil that night and watched the AP farm roll in while the organised group seemed to stay outside cos they knew exactly what we were doing... i still have 30 left over oil from that night.

Although the real objective was to simply hold out til another group arrived so that we could take your scroll... We knew that we couldn't run openly against your force + the pugs out there until help arrived.

You should see how much DC is whacking at AD tonight. AD cannot even take back Altadoon prime time. Seems like DC is trying to cash in on that "camping AD at Faregyl" claim they made. Might be exciting tonight

I'd like to say I strictly pug..and just cause I'm not on your teampseak doesn't mean I'm not making a difference.. I don't have to BE in anyones guild listening to a middle aged over inflated ego spitting out commands as if Ive never pvpd before in order to kick some teeth in. just my two cents.

Pugs aren't a problem until they decide to only ever defend 1 keep, or leave holes in keeps and just other really dumb stuff.
Lack of pvp knowledge isn't an issue because that stuff can be taught, he'll clone/tinkers group has taught me heaps since i started running with them.

Quite often inflated ego is mistaken for frustration, and when they say what to do, its not just for you. A lot of these groups will take a pug, provided they listen. But when you're telling everyone in zone chat that you're last keep is about to be taken and the scroll with it and nobody even bothers to show up because they'd rather run in a brick wall 1000 times with the reason 'i'll play it my way' there's a problem.

Nothing wrong with playing it your way, but to win or even stand a chance teamwork is needed, otherwise a steamroll happens.

Give the leaders a break, they're trying to lead a group of people where typically about 10-30% listen and be effective, another 20-30% simply follow and are semi-effective, and usually the majority doesn't give a damn, its actually quite frustrating which is where you will see some start yelling.

well next time I decide to drop a forward camp when your guildmates aren't doing so......or I decide to rezz you when your guildmates seem to have forgotten their soulgems..or even God forbid I kill or help destroy a group that's about to take a resource Ill remind ya it was a pug that did it.

Pugs can be great with teamwork if we aren't spoken of as if we are degenerates.

'Pugs' seems to be everyone until they get invited into one of your groups. That's why people call the leaders elitists and don't like to take orders form them, especially when they're being derided half of the time. It doesn't matter how right they are if nobody wants to play with them. Maybe you should try not calling people pugs at all and just ask them to help out nicely like you would in person.

EP has seem to come together to a degree. What I would love to know is where the hell they are when we are locked and don;t seem to be making a splash in the water until we start pushing somewhere.

BTW running Ghartok tonight was quite the *** show but damn was it fun. Luckily one of our guildies got a recording of it. Just not sure why AD decided to drop whatever they were doing and come after it when they could not pick it up.

Also is ZoS aware of the bug that just automatically drops the scroll from a player even though they have not died? I've seen this happen a few times now and I am positive we aren't the only group to see it. Anyone else? Cause quite an issue for us when we ran with Altadoon and were SOOO close to dragonclaw only to have the scroll drop and we had 100 DC on us.

Idk what prime time you play but probably AD is too busy having dinner or eating out their girlfriends, who knows. Prime time starts at 10 pm EST imo.
So we started off nicely by capping warden and farming a bit:

    btSUpyi.jpg

Got emboldened from wiping your zergs, and hit warden. Blew up a lot of smurfs at warden, and Cloneinkk's group nabbed the Altadoon scroll. We took this opportunity to have some nice threeway with y'all blues and a few insomniac reds, capped warden, by which point we are already heading to the gate. Bypassed a sea of smurfs pouring out and made a nice little picnic in your backyard (a nicer way of saying "balls deep").

    And to finish off a solid night of DC trolling;
    6wVtuA2.jpg

Bowing down to DC herp derp.

Btw, this is EST 1-2am. A fair bit later than normal for me but probably well within NA "prime time" capacities.

I'm fully resigned to the fact that either one or both of these scrolls will be gone by the time I log on next time, and that's fine. BDG & our trusty PUGs are always looking for a good AP farm :)

P.S. a shoutout to Clone again for his help at the gate and siege. Also to all the PUGs that actually get in TS and do *** and get'r done.

Shrug, not for many people with dogs, kids, gyms, practice, dinner and so on.

I'm not saying you're doing it wrong I'm just saying don't make it sound like NA is all about the early evening EST. 6 is like when people get home from work east coast, i don't think that's 'prime' time.

and consider that west coast is -3hrs so they're at work still then.

In the real world maybe, but the sever is pretty locked up round 7ish. I'm sure you can assume MOST people have those things but still seem to play. We start our PvP at 8:00pm EST and there is a queue. We run for 4-5 hours until 1am EST.

We held you at Arrius all night all the while pushing DC multiple times back. Not much resistance for you up to Ash tonight that we do know.

Were you on when AD charged us as we were taking Ghartok back through your territory? I am so curious as to why they went after us when they couldn't grab the scroll. There were A LOT lol.

I wasn't around for it. I don't understand why wouldn't they chase you for the scroll? Shrug. No idea whose group it was anyway or who was running stuff.

P.S. The server population bar has been *** since craglorn. It was huge zergs but only 2 bars, then locked next patch, then near empty again, then locked, meanwhile the actual number of people didn't seem to have changed all that much (e.g. zergs everywhere).

Honestly I don't even know what the rationale for that *** is anymore, I'm in double digit queue for it always no matter what time (except mornings maybe if I'm off for whatever reason), but I rarely get on before 8pm EST.

You do know that's going to make the same happen to EP pop, right? EP has easily half the amount AD has and somewhat equal to DC pop at Oceanic prime time. It's insanely hard, nigh impossible, to convince anyone to play during Oceanic times for EP. Everyone I've spoken to in the past few days said (and I'm paraphrasing) "No, that's stupid. AD is just stacked at that time." I was all up for trying to populate Wabba during Oceanic prime time, but with this behavior of completely ignoring DC because "they don't put up much of a fight" is just going to make PvP a ghost town at that time period. It's the same thing that happened to Auriel's Bow.

I remember that it wasn't that long ago that Ep had the Oceanic primetime with a poplock, compared to DC's 1 bar.

EP also well out number DC during Oceanic prime, we have less than 100 easily, probably around the 40 mark.
