I just don't understand why Zenimax implements these nerfs, but doesn't make it public...way to get on your customers bad side.

Thank you, Dr. House. Is there any other prognosis you have for us?

Indeed, this change has also helped remove the plague that was dagger dual wielders.

If you truly believe that you're intolerant. People have the right to wield what they want. Just because you don't like duel daggers, doesn't mean you should enforce sanctions on those who do. What if everyone thought like that? There would be no freedom

    How very dare you!

Melee and medium armor at clearly overpowered and must be removed from end game.

The more nerfs that hit them far more than they hit light armor and staves the better!!!!

Do you want this game to die? Can someone please explain why they are doing things that clearly *** people off? You guys need to explain why you do things like this. It really pisses me off when you take something down from like 3 to 1 per hit.

Dude... that's like 3,6,9,12,15 to 1,2,3,4,5. WHAT? lol 3 TIMES slower charge?

That's quite a nerf. Jesus guys. Stop before you run everybody away.

They want to be sure no templar ever survives a 3 pack encounter again. They want templar corpses to litter the whole of tamriel. That's why.

Our low cost sweep ultimate could be regularly relied on to substitute our non existent dps from multiple small crits generating ultimate from biting jabs. This would give us a chance at winning some 3 pack encounters. This wasn't fair to the npcs so it needed to be 66.6% (repeating of course) less effective.

It needed to be balanced for sure, but from 3 to 1? That's kind of a massive jump that's going to net ZOS a HUGE amount of community pushback and backlash. I wouldn't be surprised if they either revert the change entirely or buff the generation up to 2 instead of 1 within the next few days. I can see this nerf being exactly like the templar nerf; "oops too hard of a nerf our bad"

Everything they do seems to get backlash so whats the difference? No decision they make will ever make the population as a whole go "wow we all like that". Wont ever happen in a million years.

its a general nerf, but honestly i think DK's are gonna get hit hardest by this.

Consider their passive that restores health/stam/mag by x amount + 70% ultimate cost. which means if your ultimate is at 1000 when you use it you get 700 additional health/stam/mag on top of what the passive already gives you.

Now DK's take longer to get ultimate, and also probably wont get it built up to 1K before they can use it.

    so yeah, DK nerf

(Also its an Ultimate, not just some super strong spell, you shouldn't be able to build it up in under 5-10 minutes if you ask me)

As a Templar with a nerfed Biting Jabs and recent GCD and increased magicka cost, this just further infuriates me.

Biting Jabs Crit chance was at 80% if specced right. Now as a finishing move it's effectiveness is further diminished!

I've noticed a pattern in that they tend not to pre-announce the massive game changing sledge hammer style nerfs. They like to surprise us. They'll tell you about their plans to fix vibrating ponies in advance. But the 66.6% (repeating of course) across the board game changing cut to ultimate from crit generation, surprise!!!

But there are varying levels of backlash. It's true, you can't please everyone, and they shouldn't try too. But they should please the majority, and they've very much ticked off the majority with this massive ult generation nerf.

Just another nerf to single target skills. AoE for life yo.

Should have fixed AoE generation, but single target gets shafted by proxy.
