PSA: Playtesters at ZOS this week

We want to give everyone a heads up that we've invited a small number of players to visit ZeniMax Online this week. These players will be playtesting some of our upcoming content and features with the goal being to get early, targeted feedback and suggestions.

We invited players from around the world and with varying playstyles on both PC and console. Some are hardcore theorycrafters, others are more casual. Some livestream the game or create other types of content, others are more well-known contributors on the forums. We purposely chose a diverse group of players, but the one thing they all have in common is their dedication and thorough knowledge of ESO.

The selected players have signed an NDA and while you may see some of them mention that they'll be at ZOS this week, please understand they aren't able to discuss specifics from the play session until next week. You can expect to see details from their trip, if they choose to post, starting April 3.

Well, expectable, if those selected players are like of Morrowind PSA - who advocated breaking of ToS and insulted those in zone chat who oppose their opinion.

I don't think it's related to the reps in any way (although some of the guys selected for the tests MAY as well be selected as reps).
It's the same as last year's event, before Morrowind's release. They invited 10-20 players to test the new stuff internally, under NDA.

Last year there was criticism because many of the "select few" were reknown streamers. There was fear of elitist choices and conflict of interest.
We'll see who's there this year. It's easy : just check if people are playing/posting/streaming. If they're not (and usually do not take breaks), it means they're there.

There's 12 of us. A couple are streamers, but most of us are not. I'll let the others reveal who they are if they're so inclined.

I'm not sure who ZOS has chosen as Class Reps yet, but judging by the names on this list, I'd wager a bet that at least a few of the players invited will overlap with that group.

Please ask them to try out some tough content comprised of a group with a DK healer, NB tank, and two stamplar DPS...

A few of the areas you guys probably could use a little extra feedback from.

I actually regally do vet dungeons with an Orc DK healer. As long as the group knows to stay in front of them and there is no BoL to save you (stop standing in stupid) they work pretty well.

@ZOS_GinaBruno , there's also the testing community event in London, if I understand correctly. Is this a separate thing ? It sounds like you've invited the testers for a week at ZOS, in the US... just being curious, this is confusing :-)

There are non-US players coming to ZOS this week, just to clarify that. I'll let Gina answer the London event thing, I'm less familiar with that.

I've enjoyed writing guides and tutorials for ESO for years as well as making funny videos of my family and friends in the Differently Geared series. I stream now as well and I am looking forward to sharing all I can with you when ZOS allows us to do so. I will do my best to give good feedback and represent the community well! That is a separate event, yes.

The event happening in London is more geared toward press and early reviews; it's not for feedback.

So what I'm hearing is:

1) Buff NBs
2) Nerf Sorcs
3) Delete DKs from the game
4) Ban anyone who plays a Templar
5) More Crown Crates
