I dont think people that have a temp ban on their account will risk getting another ban. Beesting✭✭✭✭Wow, i cannot believe this, i also got suspended. I came back to the game especially because i read on the forums there was a double ap event going on.
I had taken a 14 month break from the game and took the whole week off to pvp as much as i could, i slept only 4 hours a day and not for 1 second did i use macro's and [Snip] like many many afk others did so they would not be disconnected.
Also, i read all ap will be taken off my account, which is really unfair because i had 9 million ap on my 2 chars from 14 months ago which took me many months of playing every evening to collect.
Just because i did not spend it on motives or pvp vendor boxes i will be punished and robbed dry while others (in my eyes the real offenders that started this keep flipping) just spent all the ap and get away with it
This is not a way to welcome returning players, i mean surely you can take a large amount of the ap that was earned at an inflated rate, but not all the ap, i mean i played actively many many hours and also months before hand to earn it
@ZOS_GinaBruno please look a bit more into each individual case, it is only 170 people that are suspended and it took you weeks to take action.
I would have prefered it if you had taken down the servers on the second day so i could have continued with my life, work, sleep etc.

Especially because on the forums during the doubel ap week you (zos) kept silent on the matter, making me believe it was allowed. dpencil✭✭✭✭Bravo. I wasn't expecting them to get stripped of all AP along with a temp ban. It seems to fit the crime nicely. Also pleased that PC/NA was not very naughty. I know some groups in Had were doing flipping, but it usually didn't last a really long time because we'd go break them up. I had to lul at the guy who hate whispered me for killing him at BB Mine when it was still giving 6k. People need to just play the game the way it's supposed to be played.1 -
bubbygink✭✭✭✭✭Really hope PvP ranks are rolled back too as that is the only reason people did this. Most would be happy to get off with a short 3 day ban and losing AP for which they have nothing to spend it on anyway.
That being said, bravo to ZoS for drawing a line in the sand and punishing this clear cheating. Got to throw a big LOL at those who have been trying to defend this cross-alliance coordinated keep flipping as just "smartly taking advantage of a mechanic." As I've said many times before, it is clearly unintended and clearly cheating.2 -

If your friend wasn't actioned this time, they weren't one of the top offenders. We hope this friend takes recent events to heart and doesn't partake in this activity in the future.

Heh - please understand we aren't saying no one on PC NA did this, but they weren't among the top offenders. The coordinated AP farming behavior is almost nonexistent on PC NA compared to the other servers.18
