If this was their first offense, they got a three-day suspension and lose all their AP as a warning. If they do it again, it'll be a ban. Some who had previous TOS violations were permanently banned.

You have to Reset their Rank. Otherwise every Player will exploit next time.

We just completed a mass action on a few hundred accounts that were involved in regular coordinated cross-alliance AP farming. Specifically, swapping resources and keeps to farm high amounts of AP in a short period of time. Not only does this behavior harm our PvP gameplay and community, but it is also a Terms of Service violation. Accounts found taking part in cross-alliance AP farming may be subject to disciplinary actions.
Here’s the break-down of the accounts we took action on and where they were:Those involved have received a three-day suspension at minimum and removal of all AP from their accounts. If you were involved, you have received an email with an official warning.
- PC/Mac – Europe: 170 accounts
- PlayStation 4 – Europe: 42 accounts
- PlayStation 4 – North America: 39 accounts
- Xbox One – Europe: 50 accounts
- Xbox One – North America: 61 accounts

Wow, i cannot believe this, i also got suspended. I came back to the game especially because i read on the forums there was a double ap event going on.
I had taken a 14 month break from the game and took the whole week off to pvp as much as i could, i slept only 4 hours a day and not for 1 second did i use macro's and [Snip] like many many afk others did so they would not be disconnected.
Also, i read all ap will be taken off my account, which is really unfair because i had 9 million ap on my 2 chars from 14 months ago which took me many months of playing every evening to collect.
Just because i did not spend it on motives or pvp vendor boxes i will be punished and robbed dry while others (in my eyes the real offenders that started this keep flipping) just spent all the ap and get away with it
This is not a way to welcome returning players, i mean surely you can take a large amount of the ap that was earned at an inflated rate, but not all the ap, i mean i played actively many many hours and also months before hand to earn it
@ZOS_GinaBruno please look a bit more into each individual case, it is only 170 people that are suspended and it took you weeks to take action.
I would have prefered it if you had taken down the servers on the second day so i could have continued with my life, work, sleep etc.
